A new ‘SUITS’ series… Jada Pinkett Smith calls Tupac Shakur her “Soulmate”… Sophie Turner unfollows Priyanka Chopra… Maluma shares new photo with Britney Spears and J Balvin… and Taylor Swift was back at Arrowhead Stadium
“Suits” ran for 9 seasons on the USA Network, from 2011-2019. But back in June, Netflix dropped the first 8 seasons — why not all 9?? — and it became an instant hit, spending 12 straight weeks as the most-streamed series in the US. Because of that, the series creator Aaron Korsh is in the early stages of developing a show for NBCUniversal that is set in the world of “Suits” … but it isn’t a reboot or a sequel. It would reportedly feature new characters in a new setting, sort of like they do with “CSI” and “NCIS” franchises. There’s already been one “Suits” spinoff called “Pearson,” which premiered on the USA Network in 2019, right when “Suits” ended. It revolves around the character Jessica Pearson, played by Gina Torres. It was canceled after one season.

Now that Jada Pinkett Smith has admitted that for the past 7 years, she and Will Smith have been living like a divorced couple without legally going through with it, Jada says Tupac Shakur was her soulmate. In an interview with Rolling Out, Christal Jordan asked Jada if she believed there could be a “soulmate friendship” that doesn’t include romance. Jada said, “ Absolutely! We have soulmates. Our children can be our soulmates. I think this kind of romanticized idea is like a ‘soulmate.’ There’s all kinds of definitions of a soulmate.” Then she agreed that Tupac was her soulmate and if there’s such a thing as past lives, they lived a few of them together. But she said there was no chemistry between them. Not that they didn’t try! But she said, “I wish I could get people to understand the repelling nature. It was almost like God made us that way. It was like, ‘Look, I’mma put y’all together, y’all are gonna be a dynamic duo, but I’mma tell you right now, I’mma make it so y’all are not gonna be able to get together.’ Cause that just wasn’t the purpose.”

After 4 days of intense mediation, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner agreed to a custody arrangement that gets them through the holidays. Basically, 3-year-old Willa and 1-year-old Delphine will bounce back and forth between their parents every two weeks, spending Thanksgiving with Joe and Christmas with Sophie. Britney Spears is in New York. We know this because Maluma posted a photo of Britney sitting between him and J Balvin at a restaurant table. Britney seems to be feeling J Balvin a little more — she’s got her arms draped around him and Maluma is sitting there stone-faced. Maluma captioned it en español, “Who like me in love?” with crying laughing emojis. J Balvin commented, “Oh God hahahahahahahaha I can’t get over it.” A source told Page Six that the guys spotted Britney and her crew in the street, flagged her down and invited her to join them inside this members-only club for a late-night sushi supper. The source said the three of them talked about music and Britney’s upcoming memoir and a good time was had by all! But here’s the thing…Britney had no idea who J Balvin and Maluma were. She shared a video montage of her trip to the Big Apple on her Instagram and captioned it, “Quick trip to NY … I had no idea who these boys were at this restaurant!!!” followed by 3 rolling eye emojis, 3 crying laughing emojis, and 3 winking emojis.
Taylor Swift was back in Travis Kelce’s suite at Arrowhead Stadium, cheering on her man as the Chiefs beat the Broncos, 19-8. Taylor wore a fashionable Chiefs windbreaker jacket that happens to be from Erin Andrews’ collection of sports-themed clothing. Realizing that pretty much any article of clothing Taylor wears will sell out immediately, Erin sent Taylor everything in her Kansas City Chiefs collection. And wouldn’t you know, the embroidered windbreaker Taylor wore to last night’s game is GONE, at $112.99 a pop. While she was wearing Erin’s gift, Taylor gifted Travis’ mom Donna a friendship bracelet. And for the first time, we got to see Taylor hanging out with Travis’ dad, Ed. And of course, Brittany Mahomes was sitting right next to her new BFF Taylor to share a great-big full body hug after their men won the game.
