Taylor Swift’s “Lover” Album Is Finally Out

Beverly Hills arrest… Kelly Clarkson’s guests… VMAs seating chart… Miley Cyrus denies cheating… and Taylor Swift’s “Lover” album is finally out

If you watch “Million Dollar Listing” on Bravo, you may have seen the episode back in January that featured “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Dorit Kelsey. She and her husband PK’s Beverly Hills mansion was featured on the show, but at the end of the episode, we found out that two weeks after they filmed, PK and Dorit’s home was robbed. She talked all about the robbery on Real Housewives this past season. As it turns out, they were victims of Beverly Hills realtor Jason Emil Yaselli and his accomplice, Benjamin Ackerman. From December 2016 to August 2018, Jason and Benjamin are accused of showing up at open houses for the rich and famous, where Jason would pretend to show Benjamin the home while Benny swiped stuff. Benjamin would then sell the stolen items and Jason used the money to pay off his credit cards. Adam Lambert, Usher and former football star Shaun Phillips are among their other victims. Authorities reportedly found more than 2000 items stolen from these homes inside Benjamin’s home and in a personal storage unit. There was artwork, clothing, purses, jewelry, shoes, electronics, and expensive wines…If convicted, these two guys face up to 31 years in prison. But as Benjamin’s attorney so cleverly states, “Unlike a fine wine, this case does not get better with age. Mr. Ackerman is not just presumed to be innocent, he is, in fact, innocent.”

Kelly Clarkson is teasing us with some previews of her talk show, that launches Sept. 6. NBCUniversal has complete faith in Kelly. She’s debuting on more than 200 stations, covering 99 percent of the country. She’ll be the lead-in for Ellen DeGeneres in most cities. People first reported that the original “American Idol Judges” Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson will all appear together on Kelly’s show. She won the very first competition way back in 2002.

We got a little peak of the seating chart at the MTV Video Music Awards coming up Monday night. Sitting right next to each other on the front row are Cardi B and Taylor Swift, who is nominated for 12 Moon Men — excuse me, Moon PERSONS — including Video and Song of the Year. Cardi is up for five. Also sitting front row and side-by-side are Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello, who will be performing “Señorita.” Behind them in the second row is Missy Elliot, who dropped a surprise album at midnight — her first in 14 years — and will be receiving the Video Vanguard Award. Second row for Missy?? Come on, MTV……Another interesting thing about the seating arrangement is that empty chair between Bella and Gigi Hadid. Will that be filled by Tyler Cameron, who was just seen leaving Gigi’s apartment AGAIN??

Miley Cyrus says she’s guilty of a lot of things, but cheating on her husband ain’t one of them! She posted on her Instagram and Twitter yesterday, “I can admit to a lot of things, but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating.” Then she proceeded to admit A LOT of things! She admitted she did cheat in relationships when she was younger. She admitted that when she was 17, she lost a huge deal with Walmart for “ripping a bong.” She admitted she got fired from “Hotel Transylvania” for licking a birthday cake shaped like a male appendage. (Selena Gomez thanks her for that one because the part then went to her.) Miley also said there are probably more nude photos of her on the internet than maybe any woman in history. BUT! She said when she married Liam Hemsworth, she was completely committed and faithful. She said, “You can say I am a tweeting, pot smoking, foul mouthed hillbilly but I am not a liar.”

Taylor Swift’s “Lover” album is finally out and her fans are devouring every song and dissecting every lyric to fully understand what Taylor is trying to tell us. Based on the album’s title, yes…the songs are mostly about her boyfriend of 3 years, Joe Alwyn. But on “Soon You’ll Get Better” — her collaboration with the Dixie Chicks — Taylor sings about her mother’s battle with cancer, singing that she didn’t want to tell her mom that she was scared and that she has to “pretend it isn’t real” to get by. In fact, fans who were lucky enough to be invited to one of Taylor’s secret listening sessions before she released “Lover” today said she had to leave the room when she played them this song. But the majority of the album is about Joe. On “I Think He Knows,” she sings, “He got that boyish look that I like in a man.” On “Cornelia Street” she sings about how she thought Joe was leading her on so she packed her bags and left, but he called and she turned right back around and went back to him. And she’s obviously ready for Joe to put a ring on it. On “Paper Rings,” Taylor sings, “I like shiny things, but I’d marry you with paper rings.” And interesting to note, the line, “Hey, kids! Spelling is fun!” has been deleted from the album track of “ME!”
