Some businesses are trying to take some of the sting out of our Coronavirus quarantine. Popeyes gave out Netflix logins to the first 1000 people who posted a picture of them eating Popeyes with #ThatPasswordFromPopeyes. And Amazon has made over 40 children’s shows available to stream for free, including “Pete the Cat,” “Arthur,” and “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.” Just sign in with a valid Amazon account and you can watch for free. You don’t have to be Amazon Prime. And a friend of mine sent me this tidbit — Rosetta Stone is giving students 3 free months. Just register online and then download the app. No credit card needed. And by the way, you would think that music streaming would be really high right now since everyone is staying at home, but it isn’t. Last week, streaming numbers dropped by 7-9% on various platforms.

Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd have welcomed their first child into this crazy world. Little Hayes Andrew Hurd was born yesterday in Nashville. His middle name honors Ryan’s late brother, Andrew, who died in a car accident when he was only 16.
It looks like Halsey and her “American Horror Story” actor boyfriend Evan Peters have broken up, and she may be back with British singer, Yungblud. Not only did Halsey delete all traces of Evan from her Instagram — which is a major sign — she also posted an IG story showing some British food she cooked, which she captioned, “My first crack at making a Sunday dinner #YorkshireCertified.” Ex-boyfriend/maybe current boyfriend Yungblud then reposted that IG story and added, “Can confirm.” Fans think this means the two of them are in quarantine together.

Hollywood Life is reporting that *NSYNC is considering doing “one more thing.” And that “thing” — according to their source — is a reunion WITH Justin Timberlake! The idea was planted last year when everyone BUT Justin joined Ariana Grande for a surprise performance at Coachella. And with the current state of our world — and Justin’s need for some good PR after putting his hand on another woman’s leg! — this could be the perfect time for him to get over himself and join “the rest” for a reunion performance!

After liking other people’s comments on the leaked phone call between her and Kanye West, Taylor Swift finally made an official statement. She posted, “Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about the video footage that leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years)…. SWIPE UP to see what really matters.” She then added a donation link to Feeding America. Kim Kardashian decided she just couldn’t stay silent, tweeting, “@taylorswift13 has chosen to reignite an old exchange – that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now…To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that ‘Kanye never called to ask for permission…’” She also tweeted, “I never edited the footage (another lie) – I only posted a few clips on Snapchat to make my point and the full video that recently leaked doesn’t change the narrative.” Well, Taylor’s publicist had to get in on this. She tweeted, “I’m Taylor’s publicist and this is my UNEDITED original statement. Btw, when you take parts out, that’s editing. P.S. who did you guys piss off to leak that video?” And that reposted unedited statement said this: “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that b**** famous.’”
