Lizzo will release her first new song in two years next week. You have to wait until August 13 to hear “Rumors.” Meantime, what’s the latest with Lizzo and Chris Evans? They’ve had a few fun social media interactions recently after Lizzo sent Chris a drunk DM a few weeks ago. Last week, Lizzo joked on TikTok that she’s pregnant with Chris’ baby. This week, she posted a screenshot of her DMs with Chris who said, “Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joy. my mother will be so happy lol.” She captioned it, ““OMG YALL — HE SAW THE BABY BUMP! WE DID IT! NOW YALL GOTTA NAME LIL MERICA!!!!! WHAT YALL BOUTA NAME MY BABY ?!”

“Queer Eye” star Tan France and his husband Rob are the proud parents of a baby boy, Ismail. Four months ago, Tan announced they were expecting a baby via surrogate. On July 10, Ismail arrived seven weeks early, which led to a 3-week stay in NICU. But yesterday, Tan and Rob were finally able to bring their son home.

Page Six is reporting that James Harden from the Brooklyn Nets is suing to recoup his $2M investment in a boxing tournament between TikTok and YouTube stars. He also wants the $400K he was promised in profits. YouTube star Austin McBroom organized the whole “Social Gloves: Battle of the Platforms” event featuring a ton of social media stars, but his fight against TikToker Bryce Hall was the main event. The event also featured performances by DJ Khaled, Migos and Lil baby. As it turns out, “Social Gloves” was a huge flop. When pitching the event to potential investors, Austin said he expected 10M people to pay to watch at $50 a pop. Only 136K coughed up the cash. Billboard reported that the event lost around $10M and a lot of the fighters haven’t even been paid.

When 30-year-old Jane Marczewski — performing under the stage name Nightbirde — auditioned for “America’s Got Talent,” she got Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer. She performed an original song called “It’s OK,” which she explained was about the last year of her life battling cancer that had spread to her spine, lungs and liver. Doctors gave her a 2% chance of survival. And now Nightbirde has pulled herself out of the competition, explaining that her health has taken a turn for the worse. She posted on her Instagram, “Sharing my heart with the world on AGT has been an honor and a dream come true. My point of view this summer has been astounding. What a miracle that the pain I’ve walked through can be reworked into beauty that makes people all over the world open their eyes wider. Since my audition, my health has taken a turn for the worse and the fight with cancer is demanding all of my energy and attention. I am so sad to announce that I won’t be able to continue forward on this season of AGT. Life doesn’t always give breaks to those that deserve it—but we knew that already. Thank you for all your support, it means the world to me. Stay with me, I’ll be better soon. I’m planning my future, not my legacy. Pretty beat up, but I’ve still got dreams.”

We don’t know who Katie Thurston will pick on “The Bachelorette,” but we do know that producers have picked Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe to come back and host the next “Bachelorette” with Michelle Young. BachelorNation has some things to say about it on social media. The consensus seems to be that Tayshia should host this thing solo.
