Porsha’s not returning to RHOA… Wendy Williams delays return again… Shakira attacked by wild boar… Morgan Wallen won’t be at the CMA Awards… and The lineup for Super Bowl LVI halftime show

Listen to “Showbiz – Oct 1, 2021” on Spreaker.

Just days after Cynthia Bailey announced she was giving up her peach, Porsha Williams made a surprise announcement on her Instagram, “After ten life-charging, gratifying, incredible years, it is finally time to begin my next chapter. Next season, I will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise.” Porsha added that it was a difficult decision to make, but she knows it’s the right one. Of course, she thanked all the right people and then promoted her memoir, The Pursuit of Porsha, which comes out on Nov. 16. Andy Cohen commented, “What a run. What an evolution. As we discussed, I’m gonna go ahead and consider this more of a PAUSE than a goodbye ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

Scratch what I said about Wendy Williams returning to TV on Monday. The decision was made to postpone Season 13 AGAIN. On the show’s Instagram account, they explained Wendy “has been and continues to be under a doctor’s care and is still not ready to return to work. We plan to return with new shows on Oct. 18.” But will the show return with Wendy or a guest host, like they did the last time she was on an extended leave of absence? A source told Page Six they decided to push the show back another two weeks instead of just one because they didn’t want to start the show and then have to stop again. But the source said Wendy will “1000 percent host” when the show returns…on Oct. 18…unless they push it back again…

Shakira was mugged…..by two wild boars! Shakira posted on her Instagram stories, she told us in Spanish that she and her son were in a park in Barcelona when these two wild hogs attacked her, grabbed her bag and took off into the woods! She apparently chased them and got her bag back, but it had been destroyed. Shakira told her son, “Milan, tell the truth. Say how your mommy stood up to the wild boar.” Apparently, wild boars are becoming a huge problem in European cities because they’re looking for food and garbage being tossed by humans. Police get calls about boars not only rooting through garbage, but disrupting traffic, attacking domestic animals.

Morgan Wallen will NOT be allowed to attend the CMAs after he was caught on video earlier this year using the n-word. While Morgan’s album is up for Album of the Year, the CMAs didn’t want to cheat others involved in creating the album, like songwriters, musicians, and producers. A spokesperson said, “The decision was the man [is] not allowed, but the music and the people who were part of it [are]…This is the first time in CMA history, to my knowledge, anyone has ever been disqualified for conduct. Honoring him as an individual this year is not right, and he won’t be allowed on the red carpet, on our stage, or be celebrated in any way.” Will the Grammys be the next ones to shut Morgan out? His record company has submitted Morgan in eight Grammy categories. Nominations will be announced on Nov. 23.

Yesterday, the NFL revealed who will perform next year’s Super Bowl Half-Time Show. Taking the stage will be Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige. Super Bowl 56 is February 13th at the new SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, which is home to the Rams and Chargers. The show also serves as a bit of a homecoming. Dre and Kendrick are both from Compton and Snoop is from Long Beach. Between the five performers, they have 43 Grammys and 19 #1 albums
