For WEEKS, you put your heart and soul into designing a dress for the Met Gala only to have someone ditch it for the backup. You think you’d be mad? Page Six is reporting that Tom Ford is FURIOUS with Amal Clooney, who decided at the last minute she wanted to wear her backup outfit by designer Richard Quinn for the red carpet and then switch to the custom gown for the party inside. But that’s the problem! Nobody cares about what you wear INSIDE the party. IT’S ALL ABOUT THE RED CARPET! Tom’s team and the higher-ups at Vogue tried to get her to change her mind, but nope! She wanted to wear pants! After the red carpet photos, Amal changed into the full-length, red gown designed to look like a stained-glass window. She wore it the rest of the night, but the damage has been done.

On Saturday Cardi B deleted her Instagram and made her Twitter private after Azealia Banks made some very unkind remarks about the way she speaks and acts. But Cardi was back tweeting yesterday because of the controversy over her new song “Girls” with Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha and Charlie XCX. Some members of the LGBTQ community aren’t happy with the way the song handles bixesuality, saying some of the lyrics are actually harmful. And it didn’t help when some of Cardi’s old interviews resurfaced in which she uses a derogatory term for lesbians. Cardi tweeted her apologies for that, saying she used words like that before she realized they were offensive. She said, “Not everybody knows the correct ‘terms’ to use. I learned and I stopped using it.” Rita is also tweeting apologies for the song, saying she would never cause harm to other LGBTQ+ people or anyone.”

Khloe Kardashian is getting back in the gym, so she went on Twitter to ask her followers for some new music for her workout playlist. A lot of people took her request seriously and offered helpful suggestions. Others decided to show a little tough love — or troll her, depending on your perspective. Among the suggestions? Dua Lipa’s “New Rules”…Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats”…Cardi B’s entire “Invasion of Privacy” album, which is basically about her cheating fiancé Offset….

Oliver Hudson says he probably would’ve landed the role of Jack on “This is Us” if he didn’t love fishing so much. He told the Ladygang podcast that he’d read for the part and it went so well that they wanted him to come back and do a chemistry read with Mandy Moore. But Oliver had a 10-day fishing trip planned and didn’t want to miss it, which very well could have cost him the part that ultimately went to Milo Ventimiglia.

So the final word — we THINK — is that Thomas Markle will NOT be walking Meghan down the aisle when she marries Prince Harry on Saturday. Thomas told TMZ that he’s having heart surgery in Mexico this morning to “clear blockage, repair damage and put a stent where it is needed.” Thomas says he suffered a heart attack last week, which he blames on the open letter his son, Thomas Jr., wrote to Prince Harry two weeks ago, warning him not to marry his half-sister.
