Colton Underwood says he quit… Kevin Hart is NOT hosting… Ariana Grande with Ricky Alvarez… R. Kelly celebrates his birthday… and The world’s richest couple is splitting up

Colton Underwood says he quit “The Bachelor” during filming, and if it wasn’t for Chris Harrison talking him off the ledge, he might not have come back. Of course, cameras captured all of it from jumping a fence to having the “Bachelor” production team go searching for him in the night to having Chris finally sit down with him for a heart-to-heart. But Colton says for a minute there — or however long he took off into the wilderness — ABC was without their Bachelor.

Kevin Hart says he’s out. He’s not hosting the Oscars. He says he already had a couple of ideas for the opening monologue that were going to KILL. But oh well! And now it looks like for the first time in almost 30 years, the Oscars will be without a host. Sources told Variety that producers plan to pick a bunch of A-listers to introduce different segments. There will also be some skits, and once source told Variety that producers are really going to play up the music categories, thanks to likely nominees Lady Gaga, Dolly Parton and Kendrick Lamar.

RadarOnline.com is reporting that Ariana Grande is hooking up with her ex, Ricky Alvarez. He’s the backup dancer that was with her when she was caught licking donuts at the donut shop. A source told Radar that Ariana is comfortable around Ricky and that she trusts him. But more importantly, Ariana’s family trusts him. Remember how Ariana canceled her NYE weekend performance in Vegas because of bronchitis. Apparently, she was feeling well enough to ring in 2019 with Ricky and apparently, they’ve been hooking up beyond that. The source says it’s a “friends with benefits” situation.

R. Kelly turned 52 on Tuesday, and even though his world is falling down around him, he still wanted to celebrate his birthday. TMZ says police showed up at his party at the V75 nightclub in Chicago early this morning when someone called them to say that R. Kelly was there and that there was a warrant for his arrest. Authorities confirmed with TMZ that they went to the club and spoke to R. Kelly, but once they determined there was no actual arrest warrant, they let him get back to his party. There’s video of him on TMZ singing the opening to his song “Bump N’ Grind” while people film him and cheer him on. Then he told the crowd that he was going to keep on celebrating his birthday and didn’t give a BLANK what was happening right now.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his wife Mackenzie announced yesterday that they’re separating after 25 years of marriage and that it’s all sunshine and roses. Well, sources are saying it’s not quite as amicable as JEFF would like us to think. Reportedly, the National Enquirer was about to bust him for carrying on an affair with an LA news anchor named Lauren Sanchez, who’s married to one of Jeff’s good friends, Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell. The Enquirer says Patrick and Mackenzie were recently made aware of their spouses’ affair, and now the divorces are on. Jeff and Mackenzie married six months after meeting each other, about a year before he started Amazon in the garage of his home in Seattle. They don’t have a prenup and Jeff is now said to be worth $137 BILLION dollars.
