Bachelor in Paradise 2025… Kevin Hart gets sued… Pete Davidson & Madelyn Cline split… Opening statements in Alec Baldwin’s manslaughter trial… and Tickets for Justin Timberlake have DROPPED
Bachelor in Paradise debuted in 2014, and we’ve gotten a new one every year…..until now. For whatever reason, ABC decided to give the series a rest this year. But for those who were worried, the network has announced Bachelor in Paradise has been renewed for Season 10, but you have to wait until sometime next year. The series typically airs during the summer, but last year ABC chose to run it alongside The Golden Bachelor. They are not repeating that marketing strategy with The Golden Bachelorette, which debuts on Sept. 18. Golden Bachelor Gerry reject Joan Vassos is our hot 61-year-old Golden Bachelorette. ABC hasn’t announced the names of her gentleman callers just yet, but Reality Steve found out who one of them is. Kelsey Anderson was on Joey Grazieadei’s season of The Bachelor and during her hometown date, Bachelor Nation fell in love with Kelsey’s dad Mark. A lot of people campaigned for Mark to be the Golden Bachelor instead of Gerry, but I guess his story wasn’t sad enough. Now Mark gets to woo Joan on The Golden Bachelorette.

Kevin Hart is being sued by a former friend over a sex tape extortion scandal. Back in 2017, Kevin Hart believed his friend JT Jackson was the one who secretly filmed him hooking up with a model/actress Montia Sabbag — who claims she didn’t know Kevin was married and had no idea they were being filmed. JT was hit with four charges, including attempted extortion, but those charges were later dropped. JT claims he and Kevin came to a settlement agreement in 2021, with Kevin agreeing to make a public apology and help rehabilitate JT’s public reputation. In fact, JT said the public statement was completely written out. All Kevin had to do was release it. But when it came out, JT says that part about him not having anything to do with an extortion plot wasn’t in there. And in the 3 years since, Kevin has done nothing to clear JT’s name. So he is now suing Kevin for breach of contract, infliction of emotional distress, and at least $12 million in damages.

They almost made it a fully year, but after 10 months of dating, Pete Davidson and Madelyn Cline have split up. The US Sun was first to report, but People has now confirmed that the couple we forgot was dating has amicably fizzled out. Pete and Madelyn were so low-key with their relationship, the last time they were seen in public together was in January when Madelyn showed up for Pete’s standup show in Philly.

Alec Baldwin is currently on trial for the shooting death of Halyna Hutchins, the cinematographer who was killed while staging a gunfight scene on the set of Rust. In her opening statement, the special prosecutor told the jurors that Alec was playing “make-believe” with a revolver on the set, and “requested to be assigned the biggest gun available.” She said there’s video of Alec completely disregarding basic firearm safety. She said, “You will see him using this gun as a pointer to point at people, point at things. You will see him cock the hammer when he is not supposed to cock the hammer, you will see him put his finger on the trigger when his finger’s not supposed to be on the trigger.” In his opening statement, Alec’s attorney said his client was only doing what actors always do. He said, “He must be able to take that weapon and use it in the way that the person he’s playing would,” and that includes pulling the trigger. Even though Alec claims he never pulled the trigger when Halyna was shot, but we’ll get to that later. If he is convicted, Alec is facing up to 18 months in prison.
Opening statements in #AlecBaldwin's manslaughter trial are being presented this morning. The famed actor is accused of firing the gun that killed the film's cinematographer, #HalynaHutchins.

Justin Timberlake may have been right. His DWI arrest has probably ruined the world tour. Ticket sales for Justin’s Forget Tomorrow World Tour haven’t exactly been selling like hotcakes. (By the way, this phrase apparently originated in the 1800s when cornmeal pancakes — aka, hotcakes — were sold at church bake sales and snapped up by the congregation before they got cold.) An X account called Under Face Value claims tickets for Justin’s show at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, were going for as little as $9! If you go online to Ticketmaster, you’ll still find regularly priced tickets for Justin’s upcoming shows starting around $85, but there are still a TON of unsold seats at larger venues, along with a TON of resales. As far as his DWI charge, Justin’s first court appearance is set for July 26, but he’ll be in Poland for his world tour, so his lawyer will appear on his behalf.
Justin Timberlake has marked down concert ticket prices to as low as $9 at his upcoming show in Kentucky following his DUI arrest in New York.https://t.co/P3TqxLU1pQ
