“The Masked Singer” update… Amanda Bynes is expecting… Jennifer Lawrence’s invader… Tom Brady’s move… and TikTok’s “attempt at preventing bullying”
SPOILER ALERT!!! Swan was the second singer eliminated from Group C on “The Masked Singer” last night. Special guest judge Joel McHale joined the panel and they all threw out some very wrong guesses that included Nina Dobrev, Megan Fox, Olivia Munn, Mila Kunis and Kristen Stewart. But when that mask came off, it was Bella Thorne underneath! Bella said she kept hearing that Ken Jeong repeatedly guess she was the Flamingo last season, which got her watching the show and made her excited to do it. Ken and Bella actually starred in “The Duff” together, so he was mad at himself for not guessing right this time. Meantime, Bella has signed a development deal with Fox to produce scripted and unscripted programming.

It looks like Amanda Bynes and her fiancé Paul Michael are expecting a baby. On Tuesday, Paul posted an old selfie of the two of them, captioning it, “Baby in the making.” He also posted a sonogram photo with Amanda’s name printed on it. She posted the same sonogram photo and captioned it, “Baby on board.” They later deleted their posts. A source told Us Weekly that Amanda is just barely pregnant, and she’s very happy about it. An eyewitness spotted her with a girlfriend in the waiting room of an OBGYN’s office in LA.

Sunday night, a woman walked right through an unlocked door and into Jennifer Lawrence’s home! Her security team took her down and held her until police could get there. She told officers she just wanted to meet Jennifer. She was arrested for misdemeanor trespassing.

Tom Brady is heading to Tampa Bay! Page Six reported that he decided to sign with the Buccaneers partly because of his 12-year-old son, Jack, who lives in NYC with his mom, Bridget Moynahan. While Tom reportedly considered going to the LA Chargers, he wanted to be closer to his son — at least on the same coast!

A few weeks ago, Lizzo complained that all of her bikini videos were removed from TikTok while others remained, implying that it was because of her size. Those videos magically reappeared a few days later. But it turns out, Lizzo was on to something…Do you ever notice that every video that goes viral — or as they say, gets the hype — on TikTok happens to be young and good looking? According to some leaked documents posted online by “The Intercept,” TikTok instructed moderators to “…suppress posts created by users deemed too ugly, poor or disabled for the platform.” They were told to look for “fat people, run-down houses, rural poverty, slums, beer bellies, crooked smiles, abnormal body shape, ugly facial looks, dwarfism, eye disorders and too many wrinkles.” Those who were deemed too unattractive or too poor were hit with “algorithmic punishments” that would “artificially” reduce the size of their audiences. A spokesperson for TikTok said, “Most of these livestream guidelines are either no longer in use, or in some cases appear to never have been in place.” So which ones WERE implemented?? TikTok says they originally suppressed videos with unattractive, disabled or poor users in “an early blunt attempt at preventing bullying.” But The Intercept claims they were still using these guidelines as of late 2019.
Leaked documents reveal the China-based social media company has policies censoring various forms of political speech, and instructed moderators to suppress posts by “ugly” people and the poor to attract new users. https://t.co/n8w3SsTVIY— The Intercept (@theintercept) March 16, 2020
