Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal with Spotify to host and produce their own podcasts. They released a statement saying, “What we love about podcasting is that it reminds all of us to take a moment and to really listen, to connect to one another without distraction.” Their goal is to produce programs that uplift and entertain people around the world, featuring “stories of hope and compassion from inspirational guests in celebration of the new year.” I sure hope they spice this thing up with some unsolved murders and mysteries…..

This is year 16 for Ryan Seacrest to host “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.” It’s going to look WAY different this year, but for six hours, Ryan and his special guests are going to help us push 2020 out the back door and welcome 2021. Jennifer Lopez is the big headliner, and she’ll sing and dance her little heart out for us right before the ball drops at midnight Eastern. Billy Porter and Lucy Hale will help Ryan host in NYC while Ciara hosts from LA. And Jessie James Decker will serve as the NYE Powerball correspondent, revealing the “Powerball First Millionaire of the Year” right after the ball drops.

Forbes is out with their list of the world’s highest-paid celebrities. Number one is Kylie Jenner, who sold a 51% stake in her cosmetics company to Coty way back in January, which contributed to her earning $590M in 2020. Forbes said, “While she had exaggerated over the years about the size of her business, the money she pulled in from the deal was real–enough to rank as one of the biggest celebrity cashouts of all time.” Coming in second for 2020 is Kylie’s brother-in-law Kanye with $170M. Forbes said most of that came from his Yeezy sneakers deal with Adidas. While Kylie out-earned Kanye this year, Forbes said he’s still worth more. They say Kanye’s “real-time net worth is $1.3B, while Kylie’s net worth is around $700M.

Some people would just LOVE to catch Tristan Thompson cheating on Khloe Kardashian again. But this time, the sneaky person taking a picture of Tristan having dinner with some mystery blonde in Boston got it all wrong. Tristan just signed a 2-year, $19M deal to play for the Celtics. This woman happens to be Tristan’s estate manager Julia, and she’s in town helping him find a place to live. Julia also helped Tristan find a place in LA. As far as Khloe, TMZ says she’s in Boston to help Tristan get settled, but she is not making the move. Khloe and their 2-year-old daughter True will fly back and forth.

Tom Cruise unleashed his wrath on the set of “Mission: Impossible 7” after he saw two crew members standing too close to each other in front of a computer, breaking the set’s strict Covid rules. Tom wasn’t having it. Production had to shut down for a week in October when 12 people on set in Italy tested positive, and they just returned to the UK for filming a couple weeks ago. Somebody had the nerve to record Tom’s rant and sold it to “The Sun.” It’s pretty brutal. Tom yelled that he doesn’t want apologies. He screamed, “You can tell it to the people who are losing their (BLANKING) homes because our industry is shut down! It’s not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education. That’s what I sleep with every night – the future of this (BLANKING) industry! So I’m sorry, I am beyond your apologies….. We are not shutting this (BLANKING) movie down! Is it understood? If I see it again, you’re (BLANKING) gone!” “Mission: Impossible 7” is scheduled for release on Nov. 19, 2021.
