“Saturday Night Live” has been slammed by its own cast members for its lack of diversity. The show hasn’t had a woman of color since Maya Rudolph left in 2007. And in the show’s almost 40-year history, they’ve only featured four black women in the cast. But now NBC has announced Sasheer Zamata will join the show later this month. I’m not sure if she’ll be on with “SNL” returns from their winter break on January 18, with Drake serving as both host and musical guest. The following week, Jonah Hill is back for his third shot at hosting. His musical guest will be the UK band, Bastille.

What do you think about Sean Penn and Charlize Theron as a couple? They rang in the New Year together in Hawaii, and after returning to LA, it looks like they spent the whole weekend together. On Saturday, they were seen making a run to Starbucks, and on Sunday night, they went to see “The Wolf of Wall Street.” Somebody who saw them said they both were smiling and seemed very happy and relaxed together.

Scooter Braun is off the market. “Us Weekly” says they can confirm that Scooter asked Yael Cohen to marry him this past Sunday while they were at his house in LA. Scooter hasn’t confirmed anything, but yesterday he tweeted yesterday, “Loving 2014. Luckiest guy in the world.” And then she Instagrammed a simple “YES” in big, red, cursive letters.

Fifty-one-year-old Demi Moore reportedly has moved on from her much younger, yoga loving, Yeti-looking boyfriend and now has a much younger, music loving, tatted boyfriend. He is Sean Friday. He’s 27. And he’s in a rock band called Dead Sara. Apparently, the two of them have been hooking up since the summer when she and her daughter Rumor were spotted backstage at a Dead Sara show.

Rumors that Dean McDermott was cheating on Tori Spelling were flying around all over the place over Christmas. To squash those, Tori posted a Happy New Year picture featuring her, Dean and a couple of their kids. But sources say Tori’s kicked Dean out of the house. He hasn’t been seen at their home for several days. The final straw may have been an interview 28-year-old Emily Goodhand gave to “Us Weekly,” where she said Tori and Dean had a sexless marriage and then went on to describe her affair with Dean.
