As expected, “The Fault in Our Stars” was number one at the box office, debuting with $48.2 million in ticket sales. “Maleficent” slipped to second with $33.5 million. And Tom Cruise’s “The Edge of Tomorrow” opened in third with $29.1 million. Internationally, the movie did much better, earning $82 million. They still have a good way to go to cover the $175 million it cost to make that thing!

On Saturday night, Sandra Bullock was picking up the Decade of Hotness honor at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards. On Sunday morning, Sandra was picking up the phone to dial 911! Police arrested 39-year-old Joshua Corbett outside Sandra’s home in LA. Sandra was not hurt. Police are now trying to determine if this was a random attempted home burglary or of this guy is a stalker.

After 18 years of marriage, Melanie Griffith has filed for divorce from Antonio Banderas. She blames it on irreconcilable differences. Melanie is asking for spousal support and child support for their daughter, Stella, who turns 18 in September. Sources say the divorce is amicable but it could be a bit complicated when it comes to dividing up all their property. Another breakup we heard about over the weekend — Rita Ora and Calvin Harris. After Rita was seen hanging out with Justin Bieber in Mexico and Calvin was photographed partying with some brunette, he decided to address the rumors head-on by tweeting, “To address speculation – myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best.” But does he REALLY…..It turns out that Rita had been in the recording studio with Justin for the past few months and Calvin heard they got maybe a little too affectionate with back rubs and whatnot. Sources told TMZ that Calvin has already had Rita’s things removed from his house in LA. And to top it off, Calvin produced a few songs for Rita, but now he won’t allow them to be released. Yeah, so much for wishing her the best…

While Jennifer Lopez is on the East Coast promoting her new album, Casper Smart spent the weekend packing up his things at Jennifer’s home in LA. Jennifer’s not giving him any money to walk away, but reportedly, he didn’t ask for money anyway. Jennifer is, however, letting Casper keep all the gifts she ever gave him, including that customized Dodge Ram truck she gave him for his 25th birthday, a Jeep and two motorcycles. Meantime, Jennifer has pulled out of performing at the World Cup opener because of “production issues.” She was supposed to sing “We Are One” with Pitbull, who will now be singing it with Claudia Leitte.

Tracy Morgan remains in critical condition but his rep says he has become more responsive. Tracy and his friends performed a show in Delaware Friday night and they all piled into a Mercedes limo bus to head home. About 1am Saturday, their bus was rear-ended by an 18-wheeler on the New Jersey Turnpike. Tracy’s friend and writing partner, James “Jimmy Mack” McNair was killed. Tracy and two others were injured. Tracy suffered a broken leg, a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs. He underwent leg surgery yesterday. Doctors say it will be weeks before he can leave the hospital. Meantime, the driver who caused the accident turned himself in to state police. Kevin Roper has been charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto. He is free on $50K bail.
