Chuck Norris & Vanilla Ice taking on zombies… Tyga wants to be the main guardian… Dolly Parton’s performance… Pink postpones shows… and Travis Scott questioned in civil deposition
In movie and TV news, a movie was filmed in Australia earlier this year called “Zombie Plane,” where a secret government agency has recruited celebrities who are tasked with saving humanity from an impending zombie invasion. Playing themselves, Vanilla Ice will be trained to kick zombie butt by the one and only Chuck Norris. We don’t have a release date on this one yet. Last year’s top movie, “Top Gun,” has been turned into a reality show. “Top Gun: The Next Generation” is coming to Nat Geo. Again, we don’t have a premiere date. But the show will follow the training of Navy student pilots performing some of the most challenging flight tests possible, including landing on an aircraft carrier at sea. Reportedly, this is the first time this level of access has been granted to the pilot training program.

When she was baptized, she went under water as Blac Chyna and emerged as Angela White. Since then Chyna/Angela has been working hard to rehab her life and her image, dissolving the fillers in her body and face and erasing her demonic tattoos. But Chyna/Angela has been struggling financially. Back in 2021, she bragged about earning over $200M on her OnlyFans, which she has since deactivated. She says she’s been forced to sell personal belongings to pay her bills. A couple months ago, she filed a petition asking Tyga to pay her child support, but he responded at the time that he wasn’t going to pay her anything because A) he was already spending $40K per year on their son’s tuition and B) Cairo was spending the majority of the time with him anyway. Now Chyna/Angela is asking the court to grant joint custody with 50/50 visitation, and Tyga responded by asking the court for sole custody.

The Cowboys playing on Thanksgiving is a holiday tradition. This year, they’re making the Washington Commanders leave their families behind to play football for us. It’s not as huge as playing the Super Bowl Halftime Show, but performing the halftime show at the Thanksgiving Day Game is a BIG DEAL. And this year, that honor goes to Dolly Freaking Parton! Dolly will also be ringing the traditional Salvation Army Holiday Bell, kicking off the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign.
Can’t wait to see everyone at the @SalvationArmyUS Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show during the @DallasCowboys game. Tune in to @CBSSports November 23, Thanksgiving Day, at 3:30 P.M. CST for a performance that will rock pic.twitter.com/Tw1KuYJeFM

Pink is in the middle of her Summer Carnival tour, but on her Instagram yesterday she announced she’s canceling — or should I say “postponing” — her shows tonight and tomorrow in Tacoma, Washington. Pink posted, “I am so sorry to inform the Tacoma ticket holders that the two shows October 17 and October 18 (tomorrow and Wednesday) will be postponed. Live Nation are working on future dates to reschedule. Family medical issues require our immediate attention. I send everyone my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. I am sending nothing but love and health to all.” She didn’t say what the medical issues are, but her fans completely understood and posted messages of encouragement.

Perhaps Travis Scott should learn from Pink’s example because unlike Pink, he did not give his fans at least 24 hours notice and he did not give any explanation whatsoever for canceling his concert in Raleigh Saturday night. The first show there on Friday sold out so quickly that they added a second show Saturday. Friday went fine, but when fans arrived at the arena on Saturday they saw a sign taped to the doors that read: “Tonight’s Travis Scott concert at PNC Arena has been postponed. Fans are encouraged to hold on to their tickets as they will be honored for the TBD new date.” An announcement also played on the loudspeakers that the show was postponed due to “reasons beyond our control.” And that was it! Fans were livid, especially since many of them didn’t find out till they already got there. But perhaps Travis needed some last minute instruction from his attorneys because yesterday he spent about 8 hours in Houston answering questions about November 2021 catastrophe at his Astroworld concert there. Back in April, there were more than 1500 active lawsuits, but some of them have been settled, including those filed by the families of three of the ten people who died at the concert. A judge has set a trial date for the first trial from the lawsuits for May 6, 2024. Back in June, a grand jury declined to indict Travis and five others related to the AstroWorld tragedy on any criminal counts, but that doesn’t protect him from being sued.
