After Gucci’s scandal over the blackface sweater and Katy Perry’s blackface shoes, you’d think other designers would be more sensitive to what they’re putting out there. But at London Fashion Week, Burberry actually sent a hoodie down the runway with a noose hanging down from the neck! A lot of people were very disturbed by this, including model Liz Kennedy who posted on Instagram, “Suicide is not fashion. It is not glamorous nor edgy…” Burberry’s creative director Riccardo Tisci tried to explain that the noose was inspired by a nautical theme, but now he realizes that this was extremely insensitive. Burberry apologizes for the distress they’ve caused and they’ve pulled the hoodie from their fall/winter collection.

Miranda Lambert’s new police officer husband Brendan McLoughlin probably didn’t realize what he was stepping into. TMZ says a major TV news outlet showed up on the front steps of the NYPD’s Midtown South Precinct office and asked to speak to Brendan. Of course, they were turned away. But with all the media attention, Brendan’s bosses knew he wouldn’t be able to do his normal beat, which is doing foot patrol in Times Square. He’d be mobbed non-stop! So they’ve reassigned Brendan to driver duty. He’s got to drive his superiors around for a few weeks until the media frenzy dies down.

A lot of people were wondering what was up when Lady Gaga didn’t bring her fiancé to the Grammys. Plus, there was the fact that she wasn’t wearing her engagement ring and she didn’t thank him in her acceptance speech. Her people were covering for her at the time, saying she wasn’t wearing the ring because she was performing. But as it turns out, Lady Gaga won’t be bringing Christian Carino to the Oscars, either, because the engagement is off. Sources told E! News that he desperately wants to get back together, but she’s done.

According to CBS in Chicago, police are no longer calling Jussie Smollett a “victim.” They’re now calling him “the individual who reported the incident.” That incident, of course, is the alleged hate crime that involved Jussie being beaten by white racists shouting “MAGA Country!” while they doused him with bleach and put a noose around his neck. Two Nigerian brothers told police Jussie paid them $3500 up front with the promise of another $500 to help him pull this off. They’ve been singing like birds, but Jussie has refused to speak to officers again. Police are giving him one more chance to sit down with them or this case will be referred to a grand jury who would consider filing felony charges against him for lying to police. Meantime, the FBI and US Postal inspectors are now investigating whether Jussie played a role in that threatening letter sent to the Empire set. And finally, The Blast is reporting that Jussie really wants Mark Geragos to join his legal team. Mark is famous for handling Chris Brown’s legal issues and he just helped Colin Kaepernick get a huge settlement from the NFL.

Hollywood Unlocked broke the story and now it looks like it’s all true. According to them, Tristan Thompson was out partying in LA Sunday night when he decided to take the party back to his place. They reported, “Everyone was just hanging out, smoking Hookah and drinking when they were instructed to stop all use of cell phones or leave….Once partygoers put their phones away, Kylie Jenner’s best friend Jordyn Woods arrived to the late-night kickback. Thompson and Woods were all over each other, and, it wasn’t just ‘friendly.’ They couldn’t keep their hands off of each other. When partygoers asked to use their phone, they were told that they may as well leave if they needed to do so as Jordyn wouldn’t’ be leaving anytime soon. Jordyn didn’t leave the party until the early hours of 7am.” WHOA. When Hollywood Unlocked posted this story on their Instagram, Khloe Kardashian commented with a bunch of screaming head emojis! Her best friend Malika wrote, “STRONG FACTS.” Larsa Pippen commented on that, “Amen!” After the story broke, Tristan tweeted then deleted, “FAKE NEWS.” Of course, Kylie didn’t want to believe this could be true, but TMZ reported she talked to some people who were at that party and they confirmed it. Ten months ago, as she was delivering their baby True, Khloe found out Tristan had been cheating on her. She wasn’t ready to give up on her dream of having a happy little family unit and — against the advice of the entire world — gave Tristan a second chance. But sources say that Khloe is now finally, officially done with him.
