Jay Z is selling his minority ownership in the Brooklyn Nets to coach Jason Kidd. According to Page Six, Jason will take over Jay Z’s .067 percent stake — that’s 1/15th of one percent — for about $500,000. This move came about because Jay is being forced to sell his Nets shares because he started a sports agency called Roc Nation and there’s a conflict of interest there.
Michael Douglas says the media has blown his marriage problems way out of proportion. He admits he’s going through a rocky period with Catherine Zeta-Jones, but there’s no talk of divorce. While promoting “Behind the Candelabra” in Berlin, a reporter asked about his marital crisis. Michael said, “I have a crisis at home? No, I think the press has a crisis. We are fine. My wife and I are fine. We take a temporary separation – but the press, it gives you stuff to write about.” Michael and Catherine have been married for 13 years and they have two children.
Remember how “Star” magazine reported that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s marriage is in trouble because she’s extremely jealous and accused him of having a strong attraction for Taylor Swift? Well! Now the “National Enquirer” is piling on! They interviewed a man described as a “disgruntled former friend and bandmate” who says he’s writing a book about Tim filled with scandalous details of Tim’s very naughty pranks that lean toward homoerotic humor. Say what???? Yep, this guy says based on what he saw, he believes Tim might be bisexual.
The cast for season 17 of “Dancing with the Stars” was revealed this morning: “Jersey Shore” star Nicole “Snookie” Polizzi; former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson; actress Valerie Harper; “Pretty Little Liars” star Brant Daugherty; singer Christina Milian; Bill Nye the Science Guy; “Saved by the Bell” star Elizabeth Berkley; “High School Musical” and Broadway star Corbin Bleu; “Glee” star Amber Riley; comedian Bill Engvall; Jack Osbourne; and “King of Queens” star Leah Remini, known most recently for defecting from the Church of Scientology. The new season kicks off Monday, Sept. 16. And this year, they’re switching things up by doing just one 2-hour show per week.
Thanks to a mirrored elevator, we saw Robin Thicke grabbing the rear end of some hot little blonde. Well, now that blonde is talking! She is 20-year-old Lana Scolaro and she told “Life & Style” magazine that Robin approached at a VMA after party with this line: “I just love the fact that you’re so young.” Lana says Robin encouraged her to go talk to his wife, Paula Patton, insisting that Paula was “chill.” And then later, Lana went with Robin and Paula to another party, where she claims Robin followed her into the bathroom for a lights-out make out session.
