Tan France is officially a US citizen… Beyonce’s VERY big deal with Disney… Robert Pattinson as The Batman… A&E pulled episodes of Live PD… and Vanderpump Rules fires Stassi Schroeder & Kristen Doute

In the midst of all the chaos, good things are still happening. It took two decades to make it happen, but yesterday, Queer Eye’s British-born Tan France was sworn in as a citizen of the United States. He posted some photos from his socially-distanced swearing in ceremony, captioning them, “A few minutes ago, I officially became a U.S citizen!! For me, this is monumental. It’s something I’ve been working towards for literally 20 years, which makes this all the more emotional. And now, I will exercise my constitutional right as an American. Today, I will register to vote, and vote for the change I wish to see in OUR nation.” Tan and his husband, Rob, make their home in Salt Lake City. Even more congratulations are also in order for Tan because Netflix just renewed “Queer Eye” for a sixth season. But unfortunately, his other Netflix show, “Next in Fashion” was canceled after only one season.

“The Sun” is reporting that Beyoncé is close to agreeing to a HUGE deal with Disney. We’re talking $100M for three projects, with the first being the soundtrack for “Black Panther 2,” which is due in 2021. As part of the deal, sources said they’re also trying to get her team to agree to have Beyoncé voice a documentary for Disney Plus, like Meghan Markle did for “Elephant.”

Robert Pattison will star as the new, younger version of Bruce Wayne when “The Batman” hits theaters in October of next year. This will be the first installment of a trilogy, and Robert is starring in all three. In the first film, Batman will take on several villains, including Zoe Kravitz as Catwoan, Paul Dano as The Riddler, and Colin Ferrell as The Penguin. Sources say we’ll get a hint of The Joker in the first movie, but we won’t be featured until the second and third films. They haven’t cast that part yet, but previous Jokers have included Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger, Jared Leto, and Joaquin Phoenix. The new movies will be in a different universe than Jared Leto’s version, so he’s not coming back. There’s also a rumor that Bane, who was last played by Tom Hardy, will make an appearance in the new trilogy.

In the wake of the George Floyd murder and the current climate in our country, Spectrum made a last-minute decision to postpone the Season 2 premiere of “L.A.’s Finest” on Monday night. The new premiere date is yet to be determined. A&E pulled this past weekend’s episodes of “Live PD” and have shelved the show indefinitely, but host Dan Abrams reassured fans that they’ll be back. However, “Cops” is gone forever. Paramount Network has canceled the show after 32 seasons.

Bravo is cleaning house on “Vanderpump Rules.” Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni were all fired from the show. Max and Brett joined the show this past season, but shortly after the Season 8 premiere, some of their past racists tweets came to light. Lisa Vanderpump says she forgave them, but they’re suffering the consequences now. But the entire cast is said to be shocked that original cast members Stassi and Kristen were fired. It all snowballed pretty quickly after former cast member Faith Stowers did an interview last week and revealed what Stassi and Kristen did to her a few years back. She said, “There was this article on …Daily Mail where there was an African American lady. It was like a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos or whatever. They showcased her, and I guess this woman was robbing people….and they called the cops and said it was me!” Stassi even told the story herself on a podcast 2 years ago, to which Kristen tweeted a link to the article from Daily Mail, captioning it, “hey tweeties, doesn’t this ex #pumprules thief look familiar? someone put her on mtv & gave her a platform for press. I didn’t wanna go there but I’m going there.” Well, it wasn’t Faith. Stassi and Kristen were just being horrible human beings. Both women said their actions weren’t racially motivated. They were mad that Jax cheated on their friend Brittany with Faith. So even though both women apologized, the damage was done and they’ve both been fired. But this might not be the end of it! Sources say Jax’s future with the show is in jeopardy after some of his old tweets about Faith resurfaced, as well.
