ASAP Rocky is being sued… Adele’s Vegas residency… Travis Scott breaks a record… … Olivia Wilde & Jason Sudeikis custody case… and Videos of Britney Spears arguing with her sonsListen to “Showbiz – Aug 11, 2022” on Spreaker.
Back in April just 3 weeks before his son with Rihanna was born, A$AP Rocky was arrested for a shooting that happened last November. A man named Terell Ephron claims Rocky shot at him multiple times, with at least one bullet grazing his hand. He has now filed a lawsuit against Rocky, seeking damages for the injuries he suffered, the emotional distress, and the loss of work. Terell is a former member of the A$AP Mob who went by the nickname A$AP Relli. In his lawsuit, Relli claims Rocky set up a meeting and initiated a verbal altercation which led to shots being fired.

After postponing her Las Vegas residency dates, tickets to see Adele live at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace are now available. According to the Ticketmaster blog, “Access to each presale will be limited with priority given to fans who held tickets for the original show dates or who registered and were waitlisted or unable to purchase tickets for the previous Adele Verified Fan Presale.” If you don’t meet those requirements, you will have to find tickets on several other resale ticket sites. Adele’s residency will begin on November 18 and run through March 25, 2023.
Travis Scott’s fans can’t get enough of him. Travis laid low for a bit after the Astroworld tragedy back in November that left 10 people dead, but he’s starting to perform more lately. Travis played two shows at the O2 Arena in London over the weekend and broke a record in the process. Travis is the first artist to sell over a million dollars in merchandise in the UK. He also broke the UK merch sales record previously held by BTS. They sold just under a million dollars worth of tees and hoodies during their “Love Yourself World Tour” stops in London. Travis released a new series of merchandise exclusively for his O2 shows, and fans arrived hours before his concerts to make sure they got their hands on some. His hoodies were going for $100-$125 a pop, while shirts ranged from $45-$75. Hats went for $45.

As far as we, the public, knew, things seemed to be fairly amicable between Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis in their child custody negotiations……until Olivia got served on stage at CinemaCon in front of 4000 industry executives. Olivia and Jason have two kids, 8-year-old Otis and 5-year-old Daisy. Based on court filings revealed yesterday, things are getting nasty. The kids had been spending a week at a time either in LA with her or NYC with him, but Olivia reportedly plans to move to London by the end of next year to be with Harry Styles there. She also plans to keep a home in LA. Jason says he’s worried Olivia is trying to cut I’m out of their kids’ lives by moving to London, which is why he filed for custody. He said he didn’t want her served at Harry’s house because the kids might have been there. He also didn’t want her served at the children’s school. Jason claims he wanted her to be served at Heathrow Airport. That didn’t work out. The he requested she be served at the hotel she was staying at in Vegas for CinemaCon. That was a bust, too. Jason claims he had no idea Olivia would be served on stage and was “deeply upset” when he found out. But in her court filing, Olivia said, “Jason’s actions were clearly intended to threaten me and catch me off guard. He could have served me discreetly, but instead he chose to serve me in the most aggressive manner possible. The fact that Jason would embarrass me professionally and put our personal conflict on public display in this manner is extremely contrary to our children’s best interests.” Yesterday, Olivia won the first round of the custody battle when a judge ruled that their children’s home state is California, dismissing Jason’s petition in NY. That doesn’t mean this is over. It just means the case will most likely continue in California.

In a heated — and now deleted — Instagram post, Britney Spears started off talking about taking her dogs to the park and how she hasn’t posted pictures of her new house yet because she misses her old house. She said, “It’s hard for me to let go of things I truly love…like my kids.” And she was off and running. “A British network claimed that their stepmom’s goal is to keep the children away from all the controversy and trauma in my home…I have love in my home and I have blessings from the people I allow in and out of my home!!!” She talked about how disrespected she felt when the kids would finally come for a visit. She wrote, “I know that teenagers are just hard to deal with at that age…but COME ON, there’s being rude then there’s being HATEFUL…they would visit me, walk in the door, go straight to their room and lock the door!!! The MONITOR would tell me that he just likes to be in his room…I’m like why come visit me if they don’t even visit me!!!” she went on to say that she knows teenage years are weird but she always “TRIED and TRIED, and maybe that’s why they stopped coming here!!! I wanted them to love me so much that I might have overdone it!!!” In the interview Kevin Federline gave to a British reporter, he referred to his family as the Brady Bunch. Britney didn’t like that. She posted, “I can guarantee you, that house has more weed than Ludacris, 50 cent, Jay Z and Puff Daddy combined !!!!” Kevin Federline fired back. He fired up his dormant Instagram to post a couple of videos his sons secretly recorded of their mama fussing at them and dropping some F bombs in the process. He captioned it, “I can not sit back and let my sons be accused in this way after what they’ve been through. As much as it hurts us, we decided as a family to post these videos the boys took when they were 11 & 12. This isn’t even the worst of it. The lies have to stop. I hope our kids grow up to be better than this #NeverFearTruth.” In one of the videos, Britney comes into her sons’ bedroom when they’re trying to go to sleep and demands that they respect her as a woman. In another, Britney is upset with Sean for taking off his shoes and displaying his bloody bare feet in an ice cream parlor, telling him he needs to lose his phone for a long time.
