Coming in third was “John Wick 2” with $9 million.

It was sad to hear that Bill Paxton passed away over the weekend. He was only 61. A friend of his said that Bill had recently undergone heart surgery and died because of post-op complications. His big break was playing big brother Chet in “Weird Science.” He went on to star in huge movies like “Tombstone,” “Apollo 13,” “Twister” and “Titanic.” His final movie role is the upcoming thriller “The Circle” starring Emma Watson and Tom Hanks. It’s now in post-production. “Game of Thrones” fans are mourning the loss of Neil Fingleton, who played Mag the Mighty. Neil died of heart failure Saturday. He was only 36. At the time of his death, Neil was the tallest man in the UK at 7’7”. And then I found out this morning that the OG of reality TV judges — Joseph Wapner of “The People’s Court” — passed away yesterday morning at the age of 97.

Sources told Page Six that Beyonce was overheard telling guests at a pre-Oscars party Saturday night that she and Jay Z will find out the sexes of their twins in two weeks. We still don’t know the due date, but typically an unborn baby’s gender can be determined between 16 and 20 weeks.

Here are some of the big winners from last night’s Oscars. Viola Davis made history last night when she won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in “Fences.” That makes her the first African American to with an Oscar, an Emmy and a Tony! Best Supporting Actor went to Mahershala Ali for “Moonlight.” In the Best Actor categories, Emma Stone won for “La La Land,” which contributed in part to the most shocking moment in Oscar history, but more on that in the number one story. Casey Affleck won for “Manchester by the Sea,” but more people are talking about Chrissy Teigen taking a nap during his acceptance speech than about anything Casey had to say. Best Animated Film went to “Zootopia.” Best Documentary Feature was “OJ: Made in America.” Best Foreign Language Film went to Iran’s “The Salesman.” The director stayed home in protest because of the president’s travel ban from seven majority Muslim countries. But now, for the biggest moment of the night — and you had to wait until the end of the night to see this…

Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway had the honor of announcing the biggest award of the night — Best Picture. Warren opened the envelope and hesitated before Faye took it away from him and announced “La La Land” was the winner. So the entire cast and all the producers and the director all pile onto the stage to start giving their acceptance speeches. But after a couple minutes, there was a lot of commotion and that’s when one of “La La Land’s” producers announced that “Moonlight” had actually won Best Picture and held up the announcement to prove it. What happened was, Warren had been handed the Best Actress envelope, which had Emma Stone winning for “La La Land.” Warren realized something was wrong, which is why he hesitated, but Faye just wanted to keep the show moving along, took the envelope and announced what she saw.
