Bobby Moynihan hurts himself on SNL… Sherri Shepherd may be leaving ‘The View’… NeNe Leakes hospitalized after not feeling well… Ashley Greene sued over fatal fire… and was Brittany Murphy murdered?
If you caught “Saturday Night Live” this past weekend, you saw Bobby Moynihan do an impression of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, who admitted to doing a little crack…..but it was only because he was drunk! You also saw Bobby stage dive during that little skit, and apparently, he ended up hurting himself pretty badly. He twisted his ankle and ended up missing the premiere of his movie “Delivery Man” the following night. Have you seen the trailer for this one? Vince Vaughn stars as a man who fathers more than 500 kids through sperm donation.
What’s up with “The View”? First they lost Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Their replacement, Jenny McCarthy, has been met with very mixed reviews. Of course, Barbara Walters announced she’s retiring next summer. So that leaves just Jenny, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd….or does it? Sherri reportedly is “quietly looking for new opportunities.” A source says she’s worried she’ll be out of a job after Barbara leaves.
NeNe Leakes had been complaining that she didn’t feel well recently and she finally landed in the hospital Sunday evening. She tweeted a picture of herself with all these IVs in her arm with the caption, “Blessed to be alive.” Is it that serious, NeNe?? Or is she just tired? She retweeted one of her followers who wrote, “It’s probably from exhaustion. She has the most grueling schedule of any celebrity.” And NeNe agreed with, “I work my butt off.” But we still don’t know the real cause of her hospitalization. Neither her husband or the other Real Housewives of Atlanta are commenting.
Back in March, an unattended candle caused a fire in Ashley Greene’s apartment that destroyed the place and killed one of her dogs. And now four other residents of the Granville Towers in West Hollywood are suing her for unspecified damages. They say even before the fire, living next to Ashley was “pure hell.” One of them said, “It was like living next to Studio 54, with people coming and going at all hours of the night. We would’ve had more peace and quiet living next to Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller.” On top of that, Ashley never apologized for setting the fire, which they say has turned their historic building into a construction zone.
After Brittany Murphy passed away on December 20, 2009, the LA Coroner ruled her death was due to pneumonia and anemia. Five months later, her husband Simon Monjack died from the same thing. Brittany’s father thought there had to be more to it than that, and he fought for years to get his daughter’s hair, blood and tissue samples for further testing. And finally, after tests conducted by the World Health Organization, dad has the proof he was looking for. Brittany had extremely high levels of heavy metals in her system — heavy metals that are found in many rat poisons and insecticides. And dad now believes that his daughter was murdered. He said, “Vicious rumors, spread by tabloids, unfairly smeared Brittany’s reputation. My daughter was neither anorexic nor a drug junkie, as they repeatedly implied. Brittany and Simon were ridiculed by ‘The Hollywood Reporter,’ when they complained of being under surveillance and in fear of their lives. I will not rest until the truth about these tragic events is told. There will be justice for Brittany.”
