Last August, four women filed a lawsuit against Danny Masterson and the Church of Scientology, accusing him of rape and the church of stalking and intimidating them to keep them quiet. Danny was finally arrested yesterday, charged with three counts of rape by force or fear. These accusations date back to 2001 and 2003, and all of the assaults allegedly took place in Danny’s home. If he’s found guilty, Danny faces a possible sentence of 45 years to life. He’s now free on $3.3M bail, with his arraignment set for Sept. 18. Leah Remini — who left the Church of Scientology in 2013 and has spent the last 7 years exposing their abuses — hosted a 2-hour special last year and interviewed two of the women who’ve accused Danny of rape. She tweeted yesterday, “Finally, victims are being heard when it comes to Scientology! Praise the Lord! This is just the beginning Scientology, your days of getting away with it is coming to an end! #justice #scientologytheaftermath”

Kristin can be many things, and she can be very mysterious and very fragile and ultimately very strong as well, which is what we need…The way she responded to the script and how she is approaching the character, it’s very beautiful to see…” The movie takes place over 3 days in the early 90s, when Diana decided her marriage to Prince Charles wasn’t working. Production is expected to begin in early 2021.

When ABC announced that Matt James will be the first black Bachelor, that was great and all, but WHAT ABOUT CLARE CRAWLEY?? How much longer does she have to wait for her shot at being the Bachelorette?? ABC’s Robert Mills was on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show yesterday and said they’re planning to start filming Clare’s season in July and Matt’s season in September. For Clare’s season, they’re bumping the show to Tuesday nights. All filming will take place at a resort, and everybody involved in the production has to be tested for coronavirus a week before filming. Whoever tests negative gets to start filming. And once they’re inside that bubble, they’ll be able to make out on top of each other, as usual. However, they won’t be able to do any of the international travel, and Clare had been scheduled to go to Italy. Bummer. But when Matt’s filming begins in September, Robert says the plan is to be back in Bachelor Mansion. As of yesterday, 6500 applications have come in for Matt’s season, and they’re still pouring in!
