Miss Cleo passes away at 53… Ariana Grande and boyfriend Ricky Alvarez split… Kim K rubs Blac Chyna’s baby bump… Lindsay Lohan on a boat… and Who got snubbed for VMA nominations?
She was HUGE in the 90s, using what we later found out was a fake Jamaican accent to encourage us all, “Call me now for your free reading!” She was known to us as Miss Cleo, but her real name was Youree Dell Harris. She passed away at her home in Florida yesterday after a long battle with cancer. She was 53.
We first found out Ariana Grande was dating backup dancer Ricky Alvarez when she was caught on a donut shop’s security camera hating on fat Americans and licking donuts. Out of the blue last week, Ariana deleted all the photos of Ricky from her Instagram account and now we’re finding out that they are officially done.
Sources told E! News that Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna kissed and made up after he deleted all traces of her from his Instagram. But he still hasn’t posted any new ones. Chyna was keeping up appearances by flashing her engagement ring on her IG, and then last night, she showed up solo to Rob’s grandmother’s birthday party. But Kim is helping Chyna keep up this whole “family unity” facade by posting pictures of her rubbing on Chyna’s pregnant belly on Snapchat.
Lindsay Lohan has had some time to cool off since her online rant the other night, calling out her fiancé Egor Tarabasov for cheating on her and then screaming from her apartment balcony that he’d choked her. She fled London to sit on a yacht in Sardinia, Italy, where she had time to post this message to us on her Instagram: “
MTV is out with their nominees for the 2016 Video Music Awards. The big one, of course, is Video of the Year. Up for that are “Hello” (Adele); “Formation” (Beyonce); “Hotline Bling” (Drake); “Sorry” (Justin Bieber); and “Famous” (Kanye West). Getting a big old snub this year was Taylor Swift. Last year, her “Bad Blood” video was up for 10 nominations. And she got into a huge Twitter war with Nicki Minaj when she took offense to Nicki’s tweet about “Anaconda” not getting a Video of the Year nomination because she wasn’t a slim, white woman. But this year, despite having “Wildest Dreams,” “Out of the Woods” and “New Romantics,” she didn’t get a single nomination. Her people are trying to spin it that she didn’t submit them for nominations in the first place. The VMAs will be handed out Sunday, August 28, in Madison Square Garden.
