Tommy Lee is ready to give marriage another try… Kanye reactivated Instagram… Drake giving out thousands of dollars… Spice Girls tour update… and Will Cardi B pull a Beyoncé?
After three strikes, he’s still not out! Tommy Lee is ready to give this marriage thing another try. He popped the question yesterday to Brittany Furlan, a former Vine star back in the day. Tommy posted a photo of Brittany wearing this gigantic heart-shaped diamond, captioning it, “Well this certainly beats chocolates! Say hello to future Mrs. Lee #engaged.” Tommy was previously married to Elaine Bergen, Heather Locklear and Pamela Anderson. This will be Brittany’s first trip down the aisle. He’s 55; she’s 31.
Kanye shut down his Instagram in May of last year, but reactivated it yesterday as a Valentine’s Day gift to his wife. He posted a handwritten message, “Happy Valentines Day Babe,” and then for the next 7 hours, he proceeded to post 54 pictures of famous couples from the past — some still together, but most broken up. And some of the people he chose are no longer with us. It was fun to take a trip down memory lane! There were pictures of Brad Pitt with Gwyneth Paltrow and with Jennifer Aniston, Johnny Depp and Kate Moss and Winona Ryder, Pamela Anderson with Tommy Lee, Kidd Rock and Brett Michaels, Britney Spears with Kevin Federline, Prince Charles and Princess Diana…it went on and on and on. A lot of Kanye’s followers enjoyed the photos, others weren’t so happy with their feeds blowing up like that. Some of the comments were pretty savage, too, like the guy who asked, “What about Kim and Reggie?”
Drake has been in Miami giving out tens of thousands of dollars to deserving people, and he’s filming all of his good deeds for his “God’s Plan” music video. Perhaps it will encourage all of us to do some good deeds of our own! And after reading a story in the Miami Herald about how some of the hotel housekeepers at the Fontainebleu have to commute hours to get to work, Drake decided to surprise one of the women with a lobster dinner a tty shote’s restaurant, a spa day and a $10K shopping spree at Saks.
TMZ says despite what Victoria Beckham said, a Spice Girls tour is happening. With or without Victoria, I don’t know, but TMZ says Mel B has already signed the contract, which includes the number and location of concerts in the UK and the US, along with the compensation. TMZ says other members of the group have signed as well, but they don’t mention any names.
IF Cardi B is pregnant — and she still says she isn’t — a new baby could have a huge impact on her upcoming plans. TMZ’s sources say Cardi is expected to finish a new album before the end of summer, and the plan is for her to go on tour with Bruno Mars in September. But if she’s 3-4 months along, like sources say she is, that means she would deliver the baby in July or August. Would she want to go out on the road so soon after giving birth? TMZ also reports that Cardi is supposed to start filming a movie next month, which could be a problem if she’s sporting a big baby bump. On top of all that, Cardi is scheduled to perform at Coachella in mid-April. Will she pull a Beyonce and pull out because of a pregnancy? We all just have to wait and see!
