Streaming news — For the first time in the seven years since Netflix started making their own movies, they’re giving one of them an NC-17 rating. Ana de Armas stars as Marilyn Monroe in the Amazon Original “Blonde,” which has no release date yet. But it’s already been slapped with an NC-17 due to some strong sexual content. Amazon is also coming out with a competition series called “007’s Road to a Million.” It sounds a lot like “The Amazing Race,” with two-person teams going on a global adventure to different locations that were used in the filming of “007” movies. They’ll have to face physical challenges and answer hidden questions to stay in the game, with the grand prize of $1M pounds, which is roughly $1.3M. And Tom Cruise is rumored to be getting his attorney involved over the release of “Mission Impossible 7.” It’s not coming out until the summer of 2023, but Paramount wants to have put in theaters for 45 days and then start streaming it on Paramount+. Tom is furious. He thinks that will discourage people from seeing in theaters when they can just wait and see it at home.

Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins died suddenly on Friday night, just before the band was set to perform at a music festival in Bogota, Colombia. He was only 50 years old. Paramedics received a call about a man having chest pains, but when they arrived to Taylor’s room, they were unable to revive him. While the official cause of death hasn’t been determined, local officials say 10 different drugs were found in Taylor’s system, including marijuana, opioids and heroin. And the initial autopsy reportedly showed that Taylor’s enlarged heart was double the average size of a man his age. Taylor has been open about his struggles with substance abuse. Back in 2001, a heroin overdose left him in a 2-week coma.

Kim Kardashian meant it when she said she wants to keep things as amicable as possible with Kanye so they can co-parent their kids. And true to her word, the two of them showed up for their 6-year-old son Saint’s soccer game and kept things friendly enough. They kept their distance, standing about six feet apart. Their other three kids were there, too. And while Kim looked a bit somber, Kanye was actually smiling, filming Saint on his cell phone and scooping up 4-year-old Chicago in his arms.

Doja Cat is fed up and she’s not doing music anymore! Or so she says. It all started in Paraguay. Doja was scheduled to play a music festival there, but it was canceled due to flooding. Some of her fans were annoyed that Doja didn’t interact with them as they stood outside her hotel in the rain or post about the canceled festival online. But a couple days later, Doja did get on Twitter to apologize for not giving the crowd at Lollapalooza in Brazil a “good enough show.” That’s when she started going back and forth with her fans on Twitter and said she wouldn’t be taking pictures with her fans anymore. When someone tweeted at her, “4 years ago you started to achieve fame and all thanks to tik tok what happened to your humility queen? I loved you,” Doja lost it. She replied, “I don’t give a (BLANK) anymore, I (BLANKING) quit, I can’t wait to (BLANKING) disappear and I don’t need you to believe in me anymore. Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and I’m a (BLANKING) fool for ever thinking I was made for this — this is a (BLANKING) nightmare, unfollow me. This s*** ain’t for me, so I’m out.” A few days later Doja softened up a bit, saying she owe a lot to a lot of people, but she never took back that she’s quitting. But we all know she was just mad.

Nobody’s talking about who wore what or who won what. All people are talking about from the Oscars last night is Will Smith rushing the stage and smacking Chris Rock across the face. Chris was there to present the Oscar for Best Documentary when he made a joke about Will’s wife Jada, saying, “Jada, I love you, ‘G.I. Jane 2,’ can’t wait to see it.” If you didn’t know. Jada suffers from alopecia and shaved her head because of it. At first, Will laughed at the joke while Jada rolled her eyes, but something clicked in Will and in a matter of seconds, he was out of his seat, marching up on stage, and slapping Chris across the face. As will walked back to Jada, a stunned Chris tried to say it was just a silly “G.I. Jane” joke, but Will shouted back, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f–king mouth.” Twice. After a few awkward seconds of silence, Chris finally said, “That was the greatest night in the history of television,” and then managed to give out the award. During the commercial break, Denzel Washington, Tyler Perry and Bradley Cooper were all seen comforting Will, trying to get him to brush it off and calm down. And then what do you know….Will wins Best Actor for his role in “King Richard,” his first Oscar ever. He teared up during his speech, apologizing to his fellow nominees, but not to Chris! Then he said, “I’m not crying for winning an award. It’s not about winning an award for me; it’s about being able to shine a light on all of the people… Thank you for this honor. Thank you for this moment….I’m hoping the Academy invites me back.” Sources say Chris Rock declined to press charges, but there is a chance the Academy will take back Will’s Oscar. They have a strict code of conduct and assaulting a presenter probably violates at least one of their rules.
