If you believe the Daily Mail, Meghan Markle has a series of meetings lined up in Hollywood and her goal is to be cast as a super hero! Reportedly, she’s already done that voiceover gig for Disney, and a source says she’s now “looking for a superhero film, as a voiceover or even on screen.” And according to the Daily Mail, there’s been a lot of interest! In other casting news, Ben Stiller as signed on for the upcoming “Fast and Furious 9.” And Henry Cavill has played Superman in four movies, but sources say he’s now in talks to play Wolverine in “Captain Marvel 2” alongside Brie Larson. Hugh Jackman hung up his claws after playing that role in nine movies over 17 years.
On today’s Ellen DeGeneres show, Judy Sheindlin will announce that “Judge Judy” is coming to the end of its run. The final season will air in 2021 — it’s 25th season. Judy told Ellen, “CBS, I think, felt they wanted to optimally utilize the repeats of my program…So, what they decided to do was to sell a couple of years’ worth of reruns. But I’m not tired, so Judy Justice will be coming out a year later.” We don’t know what that show will look like, but we DO know that Judge Judy is currently the highest paid TV personality, earning $47M a year.
It’s hard to believe, but Madonna is 61. And it may be time for her to come up with some new choreography that involves less bumping and grinding. Madonna took a nasty fall during her Madame X show in Paris. One of her dancers had to help her get up and she was crying as she used a can to hobble off the stage. Sources say Madonna has been struggling with hip and knee injuries for months.
Former “Bachelorette” star Tyler Cameron tweeted on Thursday that he had to cancel an appearance on “Good Morning America” the following day due to a family emergency. He added, “Please pray for my mom and my family.” His mother Andrea, had been rushed to the hospital in Florida. Unfortunately, she passed away. Her cause of death has not been released. Andrea was only 55.
They just couldn’t wait until the “Women Tell All Special” tonight. They announced the big new on “Good Morning America” today that Clare Crawley is the next Bachelorette! You may remember her from Juan Pablo’s season back in 2014. No? Well, then you may have caught her on one of her two seasons on “Bachelor in Paradise” and, more recently, “Bachelor Winter Games.” Clare told Lara Spencer that she found out she landed the gig on Saturday. Clare turns 39 later this month, and she is officially the oldest Bachelorette in the show’s history. She said she’s looking for a man just like her dad — “strong, loving, gentle, compassionate, and just a real, genuine, kind man.”
