Ricky Martin is married… Jennifer Lopez appearing on “Will & Grace”… Britney Spears may not be done with Vegas… Seal calls out Oprah… and YouTube punishes Logan Paul
Ricky Martin announced he was engaged to Jwan Yosef back in November of 2016. Jwan is an artist and Ricky is a collector. They met because Ricky was a fan or Jwan’s work and they ended up falling in love. Well, surprise! They’re married! Ricky told E! News, “We exchanged vows, and we’ve (sworn) everything, and we’ve signed all the papers that we needed to sign — prenups and everything.” They’re going to have a big blowout party to celebrate in a couple of months. About this time last year, Ricky told Andy Cohen that they were planning a huge, 3-day wedding celebration, but I guess their plans changed.
Jennifer Lopez will be appearing on “Will & Grace” when it comes back next season. She’ll play two roles — herself and her “Shades of Blue” character Harlee Santos. Both shows air on NBC. No word on when Jennifer’s “W&G” episode will air.
Britney Spears ended her four-year residency at Planet Hollywood in Vegas on New Year’s Eve, but that doesn’t mean she’s done with Vegas! Sources told Us Weekly that Britney’s signed a new deal to perform at the Park Theater inside the Monte Carlo — the same venue where Lady Gaga will start her residency in December. Sources say they made her an offer she simply couldn’t refuse! Britney’s shows don’t start until 2019, so she gets to enjoy some down time before she gets back to the Vegas grind.
Who has the nerve to call out Oprah?? That would be SEAL. Yes, the singer who was married to Heidi Klum who happens to be good friends with Georgina Chapman who was married to creepy Harvey Weinstein who also served as an executive producer on Heidi’s “Project Runway,” until this scandal broke, of course. So Seal went on Instagram yesterday and posted a picture of Oprah kissing Harvey on the cheek and another one of Oprah chatting with Harvey and Rita Ora. He memed it, “When you have been part of the problem for decades but suddenly they all think you’re the solution.” Then he captioned it, “Oh I forgot, that’s right…..you’d heard the rumours but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young stary-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad. #SanctimoniousHollywood.” Back in October, Oprah posted on her Facebook page that she’d been “processing the accounts of Harvey Weinstein’s hideous behavior and haven’t been able to find the words to articulate the magnitude of the situation.” She was slammed in the comments because everyone is saying, basically, “Come on…..You heard the rumors. You knew.” But if you read the comments on Seal’s Instagram, people are calling him out for the same thing.
YouTube isn’t cutting all ties with Logan Paul. Let’s be honest, there’s just too much money involved. So what they’ve decided to do is put all of Logan’s projects on hold, including season four of “Foursome,” which is part of YouTube’s ad-free subscription streaming service. Logan’s original projects including “The Thinning: New World Order” is also on hold for now. They’ve also removed Logan’s channels from Google Preferred, which is how he makes a ton of his money. Google Preferred gives companies the ability to sell ads on videos produced by the top five percent of YouTube creators. Logan did receive a “strike” for posting a video of a young man who’d just committed suicide in Japan’s “suicide forest.” If you get three strikes within a 3-month period, YouTube is supposed to terminate your account. But with 15 million subscribers, you know YouTube has looked the other way MULTIPLE times when it comes to Logan. This offense was just too big to ignore.
