Before he sat down with Oprah for a two and a half hour interview, Lance Armstrong stopped by the Livestrong offices in Austin to apologize for damaging the charity’s reputation. And then during that interview, Oprah reportedly got Lance Armstrong to admit to at least some or maybe ALL of the truth about using performance-enhancing drugs to win the Tour de France over and over and over again. The mother of Jodie Foster’s late BFF says that Jodie plans to tell her sons who their father is when they turn 21. Charles is 14 and Kit is 12. I guess Jodie will trust Charles to keep his mouth shut about it for a couple of years? Anyway, Beverly Bates told a British tabloid that her late son — producer Randy Stone — treated the boys as if they were his own. And she suspected that the man they called “Uncle Randy” was in fact their father. But when she asked Randy about it, all he would say is that he COULDN’T say anything and that he’d signed some documents. It was a secret he took with him to his grave.
Britney Spears’ breakup was carefully orchestrated by her ex-fiance Jason Trawick and her daddy, Jamie. RadarOnline.com is reporting that Jason wanted out of the relationship, but he still cares about Britney and knew this had to be handled delicately. So Jason and Jamie decided when he would move out of Britney’s house and when they were going to tell her the engagement was off. And when the time was right, they made sure Britney was in a safe, controlled environment and basically told her what she needed to know — Jason is no longer her co-conservator and they’re no longer getting married. But a source says that the sad part is, Britney doesn’t really understand that this means her relationship with Jason is totally over.
Shawn Holley was on her way to court yesterday to meet with the prosecutor and the judge to work out a deal to keep Lindsay Lohan out of jail when she was fired. Lindsay lied to the cops about being behind the wheel of a car that crashed into a truck, which violated the terms of her probation. But to keep her out of jail, Shawn was going to negotiate 6 months in rehab. But now Lindsay will have to see what her shady new lawyer can do for her. Meantime, Lindsay still owes Shawn $300K in unpaid legal fees.

And when she thought she and Harry Styles were going to last longer than 65 days, she booked an all-expenses-paid, 5-night trip to Venice for Harry’s 19th birthday on February 1! Taylor had it all planned out — they’d be staying at the luxury Palazzina Grassi on the Grand Canal and she booked a private gondola for their entire stay. Oh well!
