If you were a big “Boy Meets World” fan — I know J-Si was, so he’s really excited about this — some details are being leaked about the Disney spinoff, “Girl Meets World.” The show will follow Riley Matthews — she’s the 13-year-old daughter of Cory and Topanga — and Maya No-Last-Name-Yet, her BFF who is very much similar to Cory’s BFF, Shawn, from the original show, but with a dark, edgy vibe. Riley also has an older brother, 14-year-old Elliot. And from what we understand, Cory is going to be a middle school history teacher and Riley and Maya are in his class. They haven’t cast anybody yet, but for both Riley and Maya they’re asking agents to submit 13-year-old girls of all ethnicities. Riley should have an “indelible personality” — whatever that means — and be “an adorable girl on the cusp of whatever comes next in life.” Maya is an only child who’s never known her father. “She is not a good student in school, but is a wonderful student of life.”

“Dancing with the Stars” co-host Brooke Burke Charvet announced on her blog yesterday that she’s battling thyroid cancer. Brooke says doctors found a nodule in her neck back in July and test results showed it was cancer. Brooke says she’ll need surgery and she’s going to have a nice big scar across her neck, but she’s going to “make a positive out of this negative thing.” She says she also wanted to announce the news herself so there wouldn’t be any false rumors out there.

The rumor is that a writer has been hire for the seventh “Star Wars” movie. And he is…….Michael Arndt!! Who is Michael Arndt?? Well, a lot of “Star Wars” nerds aren’t thrilled to hear that he’s the same guy who wrote “Toy Story 3.” But did you see “Toy Story 3??” That scene with the toys heading for the incinerator were TERRIFYING!!! Plus, this is the same guy who wrote “The Hunger Games” and “Little Miss Sunshine.” He could probably do something pretty amazing with “Star Wars,” too.

Those boys in One Direction are marking up their bodies left and right. On Wednesday, Harry Styles added to his growing tattoo collection, getting two identical birds etched on either side of his upper chest. He’s still got two incomplete messages on his arms — “Things I Can” on his right forearm and “Things I Can’t” on his left. The next day, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson got tattoos at the Shamrock Tattoo parlor in LA — one of David Beckham’s favorite spots. They each came out with their right arms covered in plastic and bandages, so we don’t know what they got yet.

Here’s another clue that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are broken up. When Justin performed at the Victoria Secret fashion show on Wednesday, several sources say he was hitting on all the models, asking them for their phone numbers all day. And then at the after party, he kept on trying. Somebody said he seemed to hit it off really well with a model named Cara Delevingne. She’s a British model who once dated Harry Styles. Cara tweeted a picture of her and Justin taken at the fashion show and then at the after-party, she was seen literally climbing over tables to get to Justin and ended up hanging out with him in VIP.
