Charlie D’Amelio has extended her Broadway run for a second time. She made her debut as a member of the dancing chorus in & Juliet back in October. She was originally supposed to perform through January 19th, but then extended her stay through April 6th. But now Charli has announced she’ll dance all the way through September 7th. Real Housewives update — Earlier this month we learned that Teddi Mellencamp went to the ER after suffering months of debilitating headaches and found out she had a number of tumors on her brain. Doctors scheduled emergency surgery to remove two of the tumors and then would use radiation treatments to tackle the rest. But Teddi gave us an update on her IG Story yesterday, saying doctors were actually able to remove four of the tumors — a big win, she said. But she admitted that this is just the beginning. And the Grande Dame of Potomac, Karen Huger was found guilty of DUI back in December. As the judge noted, this was Karen’s FOURTH DUI offense. Prosecutors were asking for six years, but the judge sentenced her to two, suspending one, so she’ll only serve one year behind bars. Karen has 30 days to appeal the sentence and 90 days to request a sentencing change. But outside the courthouse, Karen’s attorney said she’s at peace with the judge’s decision.
Morgan Wallen has broken Garth Brooks’ record for the most weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albumschart, reaching 174 weeks in the top spot. His 75th week at No. 1 with One Thing at a Time secured this milestone, though his 2021 album, Dangerous: The Double Album, still holds the record for the longest-running No. 1 country album ever at 97 weeks.
What makes this even more remarkable is that Morgan achieved all this in just five years. It took Garth decades. Meantime, Shaboozey’s A Bar Song (Tipsy) has spent 35 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, making it the longest-running No. 1 by a single artist, surpassing Sam Hunt’s Body Like a Back Road at 34 weeks. However, the overall record of 50 weeks is still held by Florida Georgia Line & Bebe Rexha’sMeant to Be.
So sad to hear the news that Michelle Trachtenberg passed away yesterday at the age of 39. All we knew at the time was that her mother had found her unresponsive in her New York City apartment, but no foul play was suspected. Now we’re learning that Michelle had been in very poor health and may have recently gone through a liver transplant. One of her best friends, Amanda de Cadenet posted a picture she had taken of Michelle many years ago, captioning it, “What sad news this morning to wake up to. It feels weird and awful to be posting this, but I want to acknowledge your death because I cared about you. I will always remember you as the young vivacious woman I met when I took this photo of you … and seeing your face from the hospital bed when we FaceTimed recently, even though you did not look like you, your sweetness and humor were still alive. I’m so sad for you that the outcome was not a better one. Wishing you a peaceful transition sweet friend and may your spirit finally rest.”
And this morning we learned that the award-winning actor Gene Hackman, his wife and their dog were all found dead in their home in Santa Fe yesterday. No foul play is suspected, but no official cause of death has been released yet. Gene had just celebrated his 95th birthday last month. After his last role in 2004’s Welcome to Mooseport, Gene retired from acting and moved to Santa Fe with his wife, Betsy Arakawa, a classical pianist. She was 63 at the time of her death.
There’s a viral rumor that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s 15-year-old son Mason has a one-year-old daughter. According to Perez Hilton, this all started on a Kardashian subreddit account and spread over to TikTok. But according to this now-deleted subreddit, Mason has a burner Instagram that he uses to talk to his inner circle of friends. Allegedly, one of his friends asked if he had a baby if her name was Piper. Mason allegedly said yes and that she was the result of “a failed protection.” Allegedly, Mason said the mother is a girl from his art class. This user on the subreddit said that person has shared his location which his mom’s house in Calabasas as well as screen shots of private messages between him and his younger brother Reign, proving this is really Mason. But Perez isn’t buying it. He said, “Use your brain. If the kid is one year old, that means we would’ve found out about it by now. Just use your powers of deduction and critical thinking! There’s no way a secret like this could be kept for a year.” Oh, Perez…..
