Unstoppable goes number one on Amazon Prime. Tekashi 6ix9ine sues L.A. Fitness. Does Meghan Markle wants to publish a book about her divorce? All this AND MORE!!

In movie news, congratulations to Jennifer Lopez. Unstoppable — her movie that was produced by her ex-husband Ben Affleck and his BFF Matt Damon — is the number one movie on Amazon Prime. In theaters, it was a slow box office weekend, but Mufasa eked out a win, taking in $15.5M in its fifth weekend. One of them Days starring Keke Palmer and SZA debuted in second with $14M. Coming in third was the new movie Wolf Man with $12M. In other movie news, after bowing out of Scream 6, Neve Campbell is back as Sidney Prescott in Scream 7. Joel McHale has joined the cast as Sidney’s husband Mark Evans. The film is currently in production in Atlanta. And finally, Goonies 2 is in the works at Warner Bros. Chris Columbus wrote the 1985 original and he’s back to write the sequel. Chris also wrote the 1984 move Gremlins and he’s also working on the script for another one of those!

Tekashi 6ix9ine is suing LA Fitness for $1M in damages, claiming they failed to protect him when he was viciously attacked at their Palm Beach County location two years ago. Tekashi was jumped in the locker room by 3 men, who were later arrested. One of them was a high-ranking member of the Latin Kings gang. In his lawsuit, Tekashi says LA Fitness “knew or should have known” this particular location was in a high-crime area and should’ve had security. On top of that, Tekashi says the staff should’ve been educated on security protocols because they didn’t immediately call 911 once they were aware of the attack. Tekashi ended up hospitalized with injures to his jaw, ribs and back. He’s suing for a whole list of things, including pain and suffering, medical expenses, loss of income, disability, and humiliation.

On Friday, Vanity Fair dropped a bombshell exposé claiming that Meghan Markle’s team had shopped a book about her life “post-divorce” from Prince Harry. We don’t know the timing of this alleged meeting, but their source says Meghan’s people spoke to an unnamed publishing house just to see if they would “theoretically be interested” SHOULD a divorce take place, not that it would ever come to fruition. Vanity Fair reported that the publisher never made an offer and no manuscript was ever written because there’s no divorce to write about…..so why publish this story in the first place??

Spencer Pratt is furious with Alex Cooper from the Call Her Daddy podcast for not sharing his wife Heidi Montag’s song. The couple’s house was one of the first to burn to the ground in the Pacific Palisades, and Spencer has been pushing everyone to play Heidi’s music so they could raise money to rebuild. Everyone has joined the cause — including us! — except Alex. Before it went dark Saturday, Spencer joined Bethenny Frenkel for a TikTok Live, saying, “I asked her to post the song, and I texted her husband and I was like, ‘Hey, it would really help. I kept tagging her, messaging…” Spencer said Alex finally responded, “We have a lot of people displaced at our house.” But Spencer just said, “Post the song, girl.” Alex did not. So now, he only supports Alex’s former podcast co-host Sofia Frankly, who now hosts the Sofia with an F podcast. Spencer said, “Now I ride with Sofia with an F, that’s my team now. Sofia with an F posted the song, did a dance.” And now, he said Alex should be scared. He said, “Respectfully, if I keep my platform, and I keep being an A-list, rich celebrity, she’s so (BLANKED). Cause I have beef with her now. She’s going to be targeted.”

On Friday, the Supreme Court upheld the law says TikTok would be banned starting Sunday because its Chinese owners hadn’t sold to a US company. So on Saturday, all the TikTok stars started posting farewell videos worthy of a Hallmark movie. But TikTok didn’t even wait till the stroke of midnight Eastern, they pull the plug a couple hours early Saturday night! But a few hours later, TikTok was back up and running after President Trump asked for a 90-day extension to come up with a resolution. TikTok posted on X, “In agreement with our service providers, TikTok is in the process of restoring service. We thank President Trump for providing the necessary clarity and assurance to our service providers that they will face no penalties providing TikTok to over 170 million Americans and allowing over 7 million small businesses to thrive. It’s a strong stand for the First Amendment and against arbitrary censorship. We will work with President Trump on a long-term solution that keeps TikTok in the United States.”
