When you’ve tried to take over the world twice, you could maybe see how this might rub people the wrong way . . .

A Germany Navy ship rolled down the Thames in London the other day, blasting “The Imperial March” from “Star Wars”. . . Darth Vader’s theme. A spokesperson said the choice of music had no deeper meaning. The commander of the ship is just a big “Star Wars” and John Williams fan.

Some people think it was on purpose though, and intended as a joke. One person in the comments said it’s proof Germans DO have a sense of humor.
