A video has gone viral of a formerly incarcerated woman revealing that prisons do NOT allow contacts lenses. Prisoners have to turn them in on the first day, and they’re NOT given glasses in return.

They can eventually get a pair, but it’s not easy. This woman’s dad took her mugshot to the place that had issued her contact lenses . . . and they made her a pair of “cute glasses.”
