A life hack expert on TikTok revealed the correct way to fill your ice cube tray.  You’re supposed to aim the water at the little flat spots while the tray is at an angle, and let the water trickle down from there.

Although, if you’ve been doing it a different way your whole life, and you were still able to make ice . . . congratulations.
