Lauren Alaina just put out a new song called Those Kinds of Womenand a music video to go with it. The video starts with a pregnant woman looking over her nursery and there’s a list of possible baby names up on the wall. The soon-to-be mom chooses “Lauren” as her baby’s name, which is when we realize we’re going back in time to when Lauren’s mom was pregnant was pregnant with her. Then we fast forward to today, with Lauren holding her pregnant belly and her real-life mom giving her a big smile. Lauren Alaina used her music video to announce she and her husband Cam Arnold are expecting their first baby this summer!

From behind bars, Diddy has filed a $50M defamation lawsuit against music manager Courtney Burgess, Courtney’s attorney and Nexstar Media, which operates NewsNation. Back in the fall, Courtney testified before a grand jury that Diddy’s ex Kim Porter gave him about a dozen flash drives containing some incriminating movies involving Diddy, male and female celebrities, and some minors who appeared to be under the influence. Courtney then went on NewsNation repeating those claims, but has yet to produce these flash drives. Diddy says that’s because they don’t exist! After filing the lawsuit, one of Diddy’s lawyers told Variety that her client “is taking a stand against the malicious falsehoods that have been fabricated and amplified by individuals seeking to profit at his expense. Their falsehoods have poisoned public perception and contaminated the jury pool. This complaint should serve as a warning that such intentional falsehoods, which undermine Mr. Combs’s right to a fair trial, will no longer be tolerated.” By the way, Courtney also claimed Kim gave him a copy of her memoir, but Diddy and her kids have denied that, as well.

Hours after James Kennedy’s lawyer revealed authorities are not pursuing charges against him, Ally Lewber went on her IG Story to reveal the two of them have broken up! Back on Dec. 12, a neighbor called police to report they saw James arguing with a woman outside his house. We assumed the woman was Ally and later found out that was correct. James was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence, but now those charges are dropped. In her IG Story, Ally said, “I am happy that prosecutors decided not to file against James, as I never desired criminal charges…We had an argument outside of his home related to him drinking again, however, I was not physically hurt.” Ally said she was shocked and disheartened by how the media portrayed James’ arrest. But she added, “We are no longer together, but I’ll always support James and wish him the best with his sobriety and healing. Thank you for your understanding.” James attorney told Page Six, “James is grateful to have this matter behind him and is looking forward to continuing to focus on his sobriety and his DJ career.”

One day after Team Justin Baldoni released some behind-the-scenes footage of a slow-dancing scene from It Ends With Us, Team Blake Lively’s have requested that a judge slap Justin’s attorney with a gag order. In a letter to the judge, they complain that pretty much every day since Blake filed her complaint against Justin on Dec. 20, his attorney Bryan Freedman “has given television interviews, appeared on podcasts, issued inflammatory written statements, and leaked information (including, remarkably, documents as banal as document preservation demands to third parties) to the Hollywood press and tabloid media.” And in this “campaign of retaliation,” they say a lot of what Mr. Freedman is putting out there is blatantly false and violates rules of professional conduct regarding trial publicity. If the judge agrees, we may not get that website filled with more evidence proving Justin’s version of events. But with Team Justin appearing to win the court of public opinion at this point, Team Blake may end up offering to settle this thing out of court.
