Can you imagine the pressure of being a teenage boy whose girlfriend’s mother is MADONNA??? Her 16-year-old daughter Lourdes is dating Timothee Chalamet, who plays the vice president’s son, Finn, on “Homeland.” The two of them met at La Guardia High School of Music & Performing Arts where he’s a senior and she’s a junior. This is the same school that inspired the 1980 movie “Fame” and the TV show that followed.
Eight writers for “Fashion Police” claim that E! owes them more than a million dollars in back pay. And me and my naive little self was thinking that Giuliana Rancic was writing her own jokes! Apparently, this is not the case. Well, the actual funny people say that E! hasn’t been paying them for all the hours they’ve put in, which can sometimes be up to 16 hours a day.
So Jay Leno’s contract with “The Tonight Show” isn’t up until September of 2014, but he’s stepping aside and giving Jimmy Fallon the gig in February. Retiring seven months early? What’s up with that? Apparently, $15 million is up with that. NBC is writing that check to make Jay quietly go away. As for Jimmy, his $5 million salary is getting bumped up to $12 million when he moves up one hour earlier.
Christina Aguilera has dropped a few pounds recently. “The National Enquirer” says she’s lost 25 pounds because she wants to be a skinny bride when she walks down the aisle with Matt Rutler. That’s funny because last year, the Enquirer said Christina put on 25 because Matt was a “chubby chaser.” Either way, the tabloid says Matt has proposed to Christina several times and she finally said yes. The marriage reportedly will happen this summer.
When Ellen DeGeneres asked John Mayer about his breakup with Katy Perry, he took the high road and kept his mouth shut. But RadarOnline.com says they know what happened! They say John didn’t like it one bit that Katy is still friends with her ex-husband, Russell Brand. And they say that Katy didn’t like it when John flirted with other girls while she was standing right there! So to get even with him, Katy would compare John’s flaws to Russell’s better qualities. He HATED that. There’s also the rumor that he dumped Katy because she was getting fat. That’s OBVIOUSLY not true.
