Christine Baumgartner is engaged. Diddy’s trial update. This year’s Grammy’s. THIS AND MORE!

Less than a year after finalizing her bitter divorce from Kevin Costner, Christine Baumgartner is engaged. She said yes to financier Josh Connor, who proposed on the beach in Santa Barbara. Josh was a mutual friend of Kevin and Christine, but it’s safe to assume he and Kevin are friends no more. This won’t affect the terms of Christine’s divorce settlement. Because of their prenup, Kevin only had to cut her a check for $1M. He also agreed to give her $200K for a down payment on a new house make a year’s worth of payments on the mortgage, property taxes and insurance, but that’s done now. Kevin will continue to pay her $63K/month in child support for their 3 children.

With the departure of Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert now gets the Queen of Hallmark crown all to herself. Looking ahead to next holiday season, Lacey has announced she will be launching the Lacy Chabert Collection of holiday gift wrap, ornaments, greeting cards and entertaining essentials. But Lacey — and Hallmark — would like you to know that she — and they — are more than just Christmas. Lacey stars in a new Hallmark movie premiering this Saturday called An Unexpected Valentine

Diddy’s been sitting in jail since September, and he’s got a little more than 3 months to keep on sitting there until his trial begins. Yesterday, prosecutors added two new victims to their indictment against Diddy. They say in addiction to Victim 1 — who we all believe to be his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura — Diddy forced two more women into sex-trafficking. So this brings the number of his alleged sex-trafficking victims from 1 to 3. In addition, they also added an accusation that Diddy dangled another woman over a balcony. This is most likely referring to a lawsuit filed last year by Bryana Bongolan, who claims that back in 2016, she was asleep in Cassie’s apartment when Diddy showed up and started banging on the door. Once he got inside, Bryana claims he held her over a banister. Diddy’s trial will finally get underway on Monday, May 5, which just so happens to coincide with the Met Gala. It is expected to last 4 weeks but, we will not be able to watch it. Most federal courtrooms don’t allow cameras or electronics. We’ll have to rely on sketch artist renderings.

The Grammys are this Sunday night. Beyoncé leads with 11, followed by Billie Eilish, Charlie XCX and Kendrick Lamar, who are all tied with seven. With a career total of 99, Beyoncé holds the record for the most Grammy nominations. She’s won 29, but has never snagged Album of the Year. Maybe Cowboy Carter will finally give her that satisfaction.

I’ve looked everywhere for the list of presenters — but I could only fine one presenter announcement by the Recording Academy…. and that would be Taylor Swift.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are seeking to dismiss Justin Baldoni’s $400M defamation and extortion lawsuit against them. But Justin only filed in response to the sexual harassment and retaliation complaint Blake filed on December 20, and then the  lawsuit she filed on December 31 for breach of contract, emotional distress, and lost wages. Justin first sued The New York Times for $250M over its reporting on Blake’s claims, and then a couple weeks later, filed his $400M lawsuit against the couple.  In addition to asking that Justin’s lawsuit against them be dismissed, Blake and Ryan have also requested a gag order on his attorney, Bryan Freedman, saying his comments are tainting the potential jury pool. A court hearing was moved up from Feb. 12 to this coming Monday, Feb. 3. The trial is set to begin in March of next year.
