Unfortunately, I spent a lot of my weekend coughing up a lung. I have bronchitis, which is a big old pain in the butt. But fortunately I have lots of meds to keep it fairly under control. I even managed to sit through two movies, thanks to a bag full of cough drops.

Went to the dentist today, prepared to be admonished yet again for my lack of flossing. But instead, I enjoyed a fabulous teeth scraping session -- am I crazy to love that part the most?? -- and many, many compliments from my dentist on both my teeth and my looks! He said I never looked better, which shocked the heck out of me! Frizzy, rained-on hair...still trying to get over this chest cold...about 10 pounds heavier than I'd like to be...but I've never looked better! Thank you, Dr. Pincus!!

I am about to cry! I got Emma Kelly in bed and asleep by 8:30!!!! This is one of the happiest moments of my entire week!! I don't even care about the laundry list of things I have to do, which actually includes laundry. I'll answer emails and return phone calls tomorrow. I will be in bed by 9:00! Oh....about that presidential address...I sorta kinda forgot about it when it wasn't on the prime time lineup when I was checking to see what I might be interested in taping for a later viewing date and didn't go any higher than the four major networks. But here I am logging on to check my email and there's a picture of the president sitting there in a mighty fine suit looking right at me...Oops.
