Hi KiddNation! I teach 3rd grade in a rural, Title I school with some of the sweetest kids in Missouri! One if my favorite things to do as a teacher is inspire a love for reading through a good book. If chosen as a winner, the $500 will go towards a variety of new books to read during our “flashlight” reading time and to keep up with the battery supply needed for our flashlights. The kids ask daily if we can flashlight read! I would love to see their excitement when they get to read with the lights off AND enjoy a brand new book!
