Today’s overachieving teacher is Jeanne Norwood and she is planning on using the money to build a good competition! Read what she wrote below.

“In terms of school and subjects, I probably teach one of the most hated subjects, to some of the most “over it” students! I teach Math to high school seniors. Most of them HATE math, much less, somebody forcing them to do exponential equations is almost too much to bear sometimes. BUT! The one thing that does get them going….a good competition! I often build Jeopardy-like games to get them investing in learning the actual material!! There are days when I get knocks on my wall because my kids are “losing it” because they are so into their competition! All I’m missing is a buzzer system!”
