Today’s overachieving teacher is Sharla Comeaux and she is planning on using the money to help the newest teacher get supplies for her classroom! Read what she wrote below.

“My name is Sharla Comeaux and I’ve been a teacher for 24 years and a supervising teacher for 17 years. At the end of each semester, my students (their parents) and I will put our money together to help the newest teacher get supplies for her classroom. Things like a stapler, paper clips, stickers, tape, pens, markers, etc. All the things that a new teacher would need for a new classroom. With the generous donation from your show, we can help a first year teacher start her career with all the supplies needed to start the school year. My current resident teacher is Ms. Caroline Hebert.”
