Today’s overachieving teacher is Neely Burnside and she is planning on using the money to provide art supplies to her classroom! Read what she wrote about her class below.

“Hi! I’m an MS Art teacher. Over the summer, my 4 y.o made a card for my mom’s birthday. I explained to him how a handmade card is so much better than any card you can buy at the store because nobody else in the whole world will have that card. That made him feel so special. And then it got me to thinking how it would be awesome to set up a handmade card station in my classroom for my students to make cards for family members, friends, teachers other anyone they want to make one for. I work in a Title 1 school so this would be really special for my students!”
