Every year my tech theatre students partner with our school’s kindergarten students to create the “monster” project. I teach my students how to hand sew, a skill that I fell is important for every child to know. The kindergarten students draw their own monster for each tech student to bring to life through a stuffed animal. My students look forward to this project every year, and so do the parents. I have kids that still tell me they have their monsters. I believe it’s important for our students to interact to create a sense of community. This money will help us buy supplies.
