Today’s overachieving teacher is Mandi Stephens and she is planning on using the money to make an interactive writing station for her students! Read what she wrote below.
“I would use it to set up an interactive writing station for my Kindergarten class! Kids learn best when doing and they can learn to write and play at the same time! I would have a post office station where they could write and draw post cards and mail them to their friends. They would also have a restaurant station where they will take orders and pay for the bill using their writing and counting skills. They could have a grocery store station where they can make a shopping list before they do their shopping and then check out with the cashier. This type of play makes learning more meaningful!”
