Overachieving Teacher Winner

Today’s overachieving teacher is Paden Roberts and she is planning on using the money to purchase podcasting equipment for the classroom! Read what she wrote about her class below.

“$500 would allow me to buy microphones (6 Yeti Snowballs) & headphones (12) (we don’t have any of either) for my students. We are currently working through our Argumentative Unit. I am working to allow my students to have a more authentic learning experience (and a fun one). In doing so, I have given my students the option to create a podcast instead of writing a paper. 45 out of my 51 students have chosen to do a podcast. These podcast projects will also be available to listen to at our next family night. I would love to be able to give my students an authentic experience with podcasting.”
