My Monday started off great with a visit to see my dad. Well, we didn’t do a whole lot of visiting. He was sleeping when I got there and I pretty much fell asleep as soon as I walked into his bedroom. So, I guess it wasn’t a very highly productive visit.

My first craig’s list purchase is complete and it went off without a hitch. I didn’t want the guy to deliver the machine to my house so I asked him to deliver it to my restaurant instead. So, now I’m the owner of a brand new (25 year old) table top Ms. Pac Man machine. It works great and so far my high score is 13,000. No, it’s not a great score but it will only get better. I actually played it all afternoon. I would imagine after about a week or so, I should be up in the 20-30,000 point range. Playing that machine brought back the feeling of years gone by. I remember spending many afternoons parked right in front of a machine like that and just putting in quarter after quarter. I never really had a lot of video games at my house but I did go up to the convenience store or the laundry mat and play for hours. Now, I don’t have to do that anymore because I have my very own Ms. Pac Man Machine. The dude I bought it from was pretty nice. I could tell that he’s the type that does a lot of craigslist selling. He asked me if I had anything that I could “trade.” I asked him “like what?” he suggested a Firearm…I’m thinking, you want me to trade a gun? You want me to bring a gun to a total stranger? I mean if you are going to rob me, that’s one thing. But I’m not going to bring you the gun to do it with. Not that I really use my gun but I don’t think I want to trade it for a video game do I? Well, I didn’t. Besides, I don’t have any bullets anyway. But just in case you were thinking of coming to my house to rob me, I’m gonna stop by the bullet store and I’m going to buy some TODAY…SO BACK OFF!
