Are you a “cold house” person or a “warm house” person? My mom, for example, is a warm house person. She want’s it warm up in there. I have a buddy that is a cold house person. He likes it like a meat Locker in his house… I know another girl that always wants it around 68 degrees so that she can get crawl in her bed to get warm…Huh??? She wants it cold so she can use her blankets to get warm. That’s weird to me. Why doesn’t she just set the thermostat at a warmer temp?? Why would a person make it colder in their house just so you can get under the blankets to keep warm? for some reason, that just doesn’t make any sense to me. I’m not sure how this came up among friends but it did cause a lengthy discussion. Personally, I keep it around 72-74 in my house. I think that’s a perfect temp.
Restaurant Update (Warning: if you get bored easily, you may not want to read this portion of my blog.)
People are asking, why don’t I “just open” up? Well, it isn’t that easy or trust me, I would have done that a LONG time ago. Any city across America has rules and guidelines that must be followed. Most are to keep people safe. Anyway, I did pass the first inspection yesterday. That was step one of about 4. I received a “Green tag” and now it’s on to step two. The next step was to get the inspection from the Fire Suppression people. These are the people that go out to a restaurant to make sure if the kitchen were to catch on fire, the Fire Suppression system is at least in place to help contain it. (I told you this was boring) Anyway, after $1050 repair, I got a green tag from them too. Step 2 is complete. Now, I am waiting on Step 3. Step 3 is the Health Department. After they come out and give me my certificate, I can open for business. Hopefully they can do that today. If you haven’t fallen asleep, please get ready to have your first meal at “Big Al’s Down the Hatch” in beautiful, Waxahachie, Texas! (Hopefully)…
