OK, the big anniversary date is set! Ok, the details on what we’re doing are TOP SECRET but trust me, this is going to be a good one. Its been a year since I started dating Dr. Girlfriend and I have been bringing it up to her almost every day. I was asking her a lot of questions yesterday about where she has been and hasn’t been for dinner and she answered a few and then she just said, “I don’t want to know the details, just tell me when to be ready.” So, that’s what I’m going to do. But now, I’m afraid that I have maybe over sold the evening. But it’s not just dinner…but that’s all I can say right now. It will be a night for just the two of us. No big group this time.

On to a different subject, I just wrote a check for a deposit for a dog. UGH, how in the world did I do this? I see people with cute dogs on the patio of my bar all the time. So why did this breed of dog catch my eye? It was so random. Dr. Girlfriend and I were talking to this couple and the girl was holding this cute, sweet dog. It was about 30-40 pounds. It was a sandy brown Golden-Doodle. It has been so long since I’ve had a doggie. And so I guess this means I’m going to have to wake up 10 minutes earlier every day and take the dog out. And I’ll have to take the dog out when I get home from work. And I’ll have to take the dog out before I go to bed. And I’m not going to be able to do the occasional trip to the girlfriends house after a night at the bar. At least, I will have to come home first to let the dog out or bring the dog with me. and that’s the thing. My dog is going to have to be the type of dog that likes to be around people a lot and loves to hang out on the patio. Do they make a “Patio” dog? Can you train a dog to be really social and people friendly or is that just a characteristic that either the dog has or doesn’t have? UGH, I do miss having a dog at the house. its been a couple of years since I’ve had one. Well, let’s do this.
