My mother is going to her College Homecoming Game this weekend at Prairie View A&M University and she is soooo excited. I love to see her excited about stuff. Its great to know that even with all of the life that she has lived, there are still things that can make her REALLY, Really excited.

That’s the thing. I thnk when you have something to look forward to in life, it give you almost more joy than when you actually do the thing that you are excited about. Its like when you are going on a really cool vacation. You start the countdown almost as soon as you buy the tickets. Even though the actual trip could be months and months away. You but the tickets then you start saying, “three months from now, we’ll be sitting on the beach!” Then. “Two months from now, I’ll be sitting on the Beach!” Then, you even start visualizing and you start to REALLY get excited. Then you go and buy a couple outfits to wear because none of the old clothes are good enough to wear at a brand new place, even though none of the people that are at the new place that you have never been to have ever seen any of your old clothes. Haha, its so cool. Now, as I’m writing this, I want to plan a vacation so I can look forward to something. That’s funny. I’m going to now stop writing my blog and find a website that sells warm up suits so I can buy my mom a super cool outfit for my mom to wear at her Homecoming.

Then I will try to plan a trip for my birthday this December. I have been wanting to plan a trip for the last few months but my girlfriend cant get a weekend off in December. And even though I have taken several solo trips in my day, now that I have a girlfriend, the idea of taking a trip without her is not nearly as appealing as a solo trip used to be. I’ll keep you posted.
