I actually have plans to go to dinner with friends this weekend. Sure, most people have plans on the weekend but my weekend normally consists of working and jockeying between restaurants so I’m actually excited to be enjoying a little friend time. I won’t be taking a date with me but hey, baby steps right? It will be four couples and me! I’m good without a date. I just want to have some fun. In fact, if things go well, I’ll even go to see a movie by myself as well. And then, church by myself too I guess. Maybe, I should hit the Bumble again??? Naaaa…

But, as soon as I can, I am planning a return trip to Mexico. I don’t mind going there by myself at all. I just need some beach back in my life. It’s been well over a year.

The new restaurant is going fairly well. We hired a new chef and she is getting the kitchen turned around. The reviews for the new place have been brutal! Sure, it’s tough getting started and it’s so frustrating training people and then they leave and you have to train new people all over again. When we get everything running smooth, we will actually have another grand opening and hopefully get some of those unsatisfied customers to come back.
