My girl’s doggie is sick. She’s had diarrhea for the past 3 days and if she doesn’t get better by this morning, she’s gonna have to take her to the doctor. And I think it is my fault. I had finished eating one day but I left my plate on a tv tray when I went to bed and the little doggie climbed on the couch and ate my leftovers. She has been sick every since. Oh my…
Kellie, I just thought I’d let you know that I did make it to the gym yesterday. Trust me, I don’t particularly like working out either. But I committed and I followed through. I am going to make it my mission to motivate Kellie into working out. This is a very tricky proposition. When you are trying to make a person do something, anything that they don’t want to do, its going to be like pushing a big, flat rock up hill. No, I’m not calling Kellie a big, flat rock…but if she reads this, she will of course, say that I am. Anyway, the good part is that Kellie knows that she should work out. She knows we all need to take care of ourselves. She just doesn’t like it. So, I have to some how make the idea of working out appealing to her without coming across as one of those people that acts like they are better than the person that doesn’t work out. I think I’ll use the approach that “I hate it just as much as she does.” And then I’ll throw in something that Kellie LOVES…MONEY! Ok, but here’s the problem. Kellie makes lots of money. So that may not be a real motivator right? Well, winning a money prize may not motivate Kellie but “Not Losing” will motivate her. She doesn’t want to lose…and then throw in a money incentive, and she might just get excited. and what would Kellie hate more than losing? Losing to ME! Oh yes…that will motivate her… She would hate losing to me and she would HATE going into her purse and getting out money and paying me. So today, hopefully, she and I will come up with a fair competition that will motivate both of us and inspire us to lose some pounds. This could be the worse idea ever…J
I hate to always talk about stuff going on at my bar here but honestly, whether its good or bad, its pretty much all that I do after leaving the studio and taking care of the Mommy to do list. There is always someone to pay, someone to go meet with, something to plan, something to change or whatever. That’s just Business. Yesterday, it was Turtle racing. I know it sounds like a weird idea but people actually have been showing up for this and seem to enjoy it. That’s a lot more than I can say for the other contest. There has to be a few people out there that understand the potential for winning the chance to be the Naked Cowboy. The sky is the limit on what a person could do with this prize. Tonight is the night when I am asking potential musicians to audition. And I’m sweetening the pot…
Tonight, I am going to give away an immediate prize. $100 cash to the winner TONIGHT! Ok, I know its not life changing money but its still $100…if only one person shows up, he or she is the winner. If there’s two or more, they’ll fight it out and the second place winner gets $50 cash. Let’s see if that gets anyone to show up.
