Curtis is the Cutest doggie ever but dang he barks a LOT! But I guess I can’t get all that mad when a dog does what dogs do. They Bark.
Man I need to get back into the gym. What the heck has happened? I at least was going on the weekends. But now it seems like I don’t even do that anymore. I don’t even take time to do the “Executive Workout.” That’s the workout of the old white guys. They have their gym bags, show up at the gym and all they really do is get undressed, go to the steam room, hop in the Hot tub, then they shower and walk around the locker room naked for about 30 minutes and strike up random conversations. They do that for an hour or so and then they get dressed and leave. But hey.. at least they show up at the gym.
The big Lubbock Party is only a little more than 2 weeks away and then Midland is the week after that. These Parties are so stressful but they are fun. But just putting them all together is a heck of a lot of work. Having a party 300 miles away in a city where you don’t really know anyone can be a real challenge. Getting the location, getting all of the permits, promoting it, and lots more stuff has to be done. I guess I knew it would be a lot of work but I really didn’t think about the whole process and I can’t really teach anyone how to do these events since I have never really done one before.
I hired a person to help me do stuff. I really hate calling this person my “assistant.” I don’t know why I don’t like the sound of that but I don’t. What will my “assistant” assist me with? Good question. Look, I’m a busy man! I have a few rental properties to keep up with as well as a couple of bars that i run. There are lots to do in Big Al World! Today, for example, she will be in charge of going to the grocery store and getting me a couple of bars of soap. Yup, I have a “Soap Assistant.” And it better be Irish Spring buddy. No, don’t let her roll up in here with some Dial or Dove brand soap. Irish Spring baby, and don’t you forget it! I’m sure I will have more of these important duties for her to do as the days go on but for today, it’s all about the soap.
